Very tasty fries served piping hot, and quick and polite service. A "large" is a very large portion which we split between two. Sauces are also a generous size. Also fyi - there's a bathroom downstairs.

Read moreI had walked in once before, and asked about vegan options, and was told 'it's on the menu (the board above the counter'.
Well, it's NOT.
It was rather busy then, I didn't insist and walked out.
This time I was early, no other clients, and decided to ask again. The lady at the counter didnt really know for sure, and double checked with someone else on the phone.
The fries are baked in plantbased oil and there's veganaise.
No vegan burger.
Vegan snack options:
- falafel
- kroket
- chickn fingers
- chickn nuggets
Ok, it's something, and a bonus that they use plantbased oil. But the offer is rather poor (PS: if you're reading this 't Brugs Friethuys: get some inspiration at vegan frietkoten Tastebuds in Antwerp and Pepas in Leuven).
Maybe I'll drop in one day to have some fries ...

Reasonable but not worth a special trip. Curry ketchup was nice but not keen on garlic mayo (both vegan)

We had a veggie burger where the bread could be exchanged for a vegan bun. Fries only with ketchup. If nothing else vegan is available a fair alternative to Burger King and other chains.
