They have a couple of vegan options. I tried the vegan version of smashed avocado toast and it was nothing special. Anyway, I appreciated that they offer a vegan salmon version and the portion was big enough for the price.

Joyful restaurant - Edit
Chose to have dinner at Swing after a nice touristical walk in Gouda, because of all the restaurants located at the central square, Swing had the most colourful and cosy atmosphere, like being at a restaurant at the beach. The service was professional, energetic and quick, validating the choice that we made.

For every course there was a vegetarian/vegan option and I was curious to try the vegan bavette main. This 3D-printed steak, which was richly garnished with a pesto from peas, rendang with yellow beetroot and twister fries was very interesting, having the same structure as a beef steak. My meat-loving parents enjoyed it too! Personally I prefer something less processed, but given the fact that we're in Gouda, I was already happy to see more vegan options on the menu. My mom tried the avocado burger (with a glutenfree bun), which was good but a little dry. All of the portions were more than enough and joyfully presented. They served even iced coffee with plantbased milk and a vegan stroopwafel. The coconut ice cream with a mousse from mango and passion fruit was a delight!
If you want a casual, but joyful dinner with lovely background music and a nice view on the historical central square then I definitely recommend Swing! Also perfect if you are with a group of people with a difference diet. Theres something for everyone.

A few decent vegan options. We had the avocado burger and the vegan meatballs. Both portions were generous although too many sauces and too rich for my personal preference. Nice relaxed atmosphere with comfy seats looking out onto the square.

Swing offers tasty vegan food. Tried most, very nice, only couldn't try the 'vegan plank' because it's a sharing dish. Friendly and effective service. Live music.

Swing has a number of vegan and vegetarian options. I was super excited to try Vegan Bitterballen. My local friend was flabbergasted they could make a vegan version. The crispy outside and rich creamy middle didn't disappoint. The mustard so good!

In het weekend live muziek, geweldige sfeer. Top bediening en heerlijk eten. We aten een drie gangen menu, volledig veganistisch. Lekker en niet duur. Zeker naar toe gaan, heel leuk avondje uit.

Finally vegan options at Swing :D - Edit
Yayayay finally Swing has vegan options! Loved to go there before I was vegan & so happy now. Staff is super nice. Have to try the dishes so don't know how they taste yet but going to for sure!
Read more20/02/22 Went for lunch here and got the jackfruit sandwich. The sandwich was big and filling. Tasted good! Had fries as well.
10/02/22 I had exact the same as last time. It was good although the vijgen carpaccio was less special than last time. Burger was yummy again and bananacake was the icing on top.
09/10/21 it was soooo good! The vijgen carpaccio was super yummy, the burger was so filling! It had an not vegan salad, I asked and they made one for me. The bananacake was good! So happy
