Didn’t meet my expectations - Edit
Reading all the praising positive reviews here made me think that it’s worth to try, well.
Read more1. Every dish wasn’t tasty. Ramen was too salty, matcha was too sweet. Noodles and mushrooms were ok but the rest? Very salty broth. I also actually doubt that it’s matcha because the color was weird, it’s not ceremonial nor premium. When adding sugar or other flavours you need to ask the customer. I also got sushi and gyozas to go and same thing, it’s not tasty.
2. Staff attitude was dry af. What I experienced was like the guy doesn’t like his job or something. I didn’t see how he interacted with other people because I was the only only one customer.
Food is overpriced, I regret going there and paying so much for extremely salty and sweet food which gave me massive face swell in the morning.
The only good thing I can tell is secure take away packaging and nice Japanese interior.

I’ve never seen so many vegan Japanese options! This was my first dinner in São Paulo and a great way to start my trip. The restaurant is extremely relaxing and beautiful and the food was just as delicious. I had some curry, a sushi roll, and some spring rolls. Nothing was mind blowing in flavor but was still satisfying and fresh.

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant, schönes Geschirr… unglaublich abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte. Das Essen hat richtig lecker geschmeckt und war sehr schön angerichtet sehr kreativ! Ich konnte sogar das was ich nicht geschafft hatte. Schön eingepackt mitnehmen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wanted to have dinner there but was full! Lucky enough, next to Sushimar Vegano is the restaurant Sushimar that has several empty tables. Waiter picked up the vegan menu and I had a delicious dinner!

Vegan Japanese restaurant. We had the rodízio for dinner. An absurd abundance of very good food. I absolutely loved everything. Good service, the only annoying thing was that we waited at the door for a while, but otherwise everything went well. I'll come back again one day.

The food was soooo tasty and the service was great! We had the Rodizio (all you can eat) was good value for money at BR$94 and gave us a chance to try a variety of dishes.
Read moreThe rodizio wasn’t that visible on the à la carte menu (accessed by a QR code) but here’s a link to what you get and you just have to ask the waiter for it: https://www.sushimarvegano.com.br/nosso-rodizio You can translate it into English on your browser.
Would 100% recommend.
TIP: Make sure you go to the correct Sushimar as the non-vegan one is just next door.
