She understood and made extra effort to make sure everything was vegan. She even took the mayo off the table. We had a very simple yakisoba and okonomiy. Both dishes were simple and tasty. I wouldn’t say it was the most delicious meal of my life but the owner was so sweet and accommodating I wouldn’t give less than four stars. After we paid we were asked to mark our hometown on the map on the wall. If you enjoy a more off the beaten path and genuine experience then venture out to this little restaurant.

Okinamiyaki and Yakisoba - Edit
They definitely don’t have vegan options clearly labelled here, vegetarian options are clearly labelled but we needed to show our card to the owner, she made us some yakisoba and cabbage and vegan okinomiyaki which both tasted similar but were tasty! Not the best food we have had in Nara, but alright if you are in the area and very hungry like we were!

Yummy vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
Such a cute, small, authentic place. The owner does everything, takes orders, makes delicious food, keeps the place clean, and takes such good care of the guests. She was so sweet about my vegan card and did her best to accommodate. She made me a vegan okonomiyaki with cabbage and noodle topping and it tasted sooo good. It’s so nice to be able to taste traditional/famous Japanese dishes made vegan.

Not the best okonomiyaki but good to have veg options - Edit
Not the best food I've ever eaten, but it was nice to have a clearly labelled menu in English with multiple veg options. Staff were really nice and spoke some English.
