I’ve been to Sublimmme several times. Everytime I’m back to Bucharest (not so often though), I go there. In the past, I used to crave food from Sublimmme even when I was abroad. But since this summer, the staff is a bit weird (as if they don’t want to work there, and for sure none of them are vegan or know much about veganism). I also heard some people saying that even kombucha doesn’t taste as it used to in the past. Very sad. Also the portions are getting smaller, the burger patty and sauce also getting smaller for same price.
Read moreLast time I got a cake, you could see the strawberry on top was quite old and whole cake was a bit old. It is definitely unfortunate and I hope sublimmme will become as it was in the past.
Not to mention that before, the staff was amazing and lovely, but now it’s always changing

The cute little place is lovingly furnished, and friendly. The bowl and cakes we had were outstanding and I would have loved to try all the rest of the menu as well.

Cute place with lots of really delicious meals and desserts! They have both more common choices and more experimental options - but everything we shared was high quality. The waiter was really friendly; there wasn't a lot going on when we arrived, so we had some casual conversation until our food was ready. He was eager to talk about the desserts, and if I could I would've tried them all. My only regret is I only came by once, as I wanted to check out other places 🌱

It’s very cozy and clean and the service is helpful and welcoming.
Cakes are really good, I visited several times and took some to go as well. It could be a bit less “healthy” (I mean flour, sugar, all the cake stuff) but I liked it anyway. Lemon&poppy was my favorite one.
Buddha bowl was unexpectedly flavorful and delicious, sesame oil and tahini sauce was just WOW. I liked lots of proteins in the bowl: chickpea, beans, corn. Sooooo good!
Beyond burger was ok, just a bit overcooked for my taste, but homemade mayo, extra cheese and baked potatoes were really good.
Toast with tofu and mushrooms was also ok, nothing special.
Today (July 2022) there are only two fully vegan restaurants in Bucharest — Sublimmme and LevelUp. And Sublimmme is really the only one keeping it on a high level: location, view, interior, tableware and, obviously, the food.
Definitely go and support LevelUp too but it’s more a fast food joint. Sublimmme, on the other hand, is a real restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere.

Very nice vegan restaurant located by the river, close to the city centre. They were out of the Monday menu offer, which looked really good, so I had the vegan shaorma with seitan and veggies instead. If you feel like having a beer, I totally recommend you to order the craft beer on the menu: it was really good, very refreshing! They also have a lot of delicious options for dessert, which looked delicious, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you!

The service was good and very friendly. The food was very bad. We had the Beyond Meat and Moving Mountains Burgers and the Buda Bowl. Everything looked amazing, unfortunately they didn’t taste as they looked. The Tahini Sauce was too thick so it was more a dip than a sauce, we had to scoop it out, so the salat was very dry! The Sauce is maybe the most important in a salat. The burgers were very dry! Either they were just reheated being cooked earlier or they were just done in the microwave. We did go to eat one hour before closing so maybe the cook just wanted to finish quick, clean and go home! He was finished by the time we were paying. I was a cook and we always needed at least one hour after closing to clean, because we can’t clean while we cook! The waiter also ask the cook if he is going already because there were still going to be some plates from the other guests. The cook just answered wash them yourself or leave them in the sink. Very unfriendly towards his colleague and very unprofessional!!!

Ummm... I ordered the cozonac and the tumeric latte, and they brought out ART. The cozonac's taste was euphoric, and the latte was topped with flower petals, making me feel like royalty haha. Wow, I definitely want to come back 😍
