Amazing food and amazing cafe!!! - Edit
Honestly what a comfortable cafe with such an amazing atmosphere! The vegan food was amazing and the drinks super nice! Definitely recommend especially if you like books 😁

Steep Street is always worth a visit, lovely coffee, great food, chill atmosphere. Lovely to both sit outside in the summer or shelter from the rain and read from inside.

The chocolates ♥️ The cakes ♥️ - Edit
First things first, a vegan in Folkestone has to go and get some chocolates from Steep Street. You can buy lovely little boxes of them, and when the shop at the side is open pick your own. Yum!
Read moreSteep Street itself is mainly famous for its glorious cakes and luckily their vegan options keep getting better. I remember my disappointment when they would only ever have healthyish bliss balls and flapjacks instead of the delicious sugary towering sponges I enjoyed as a vegetarian. They did progress to some nice banana loaves etc though, and last time I was in they had a raspberry and white chocolate vegan sponge and it was delicious. Luckily for my waistline they're usually closing up when I walk past on my way home...!
Definitely a great one to pop into on your way down the Old High Street to the harbour.
Pros: Cakes, Décor, Friendly
Cons: Close too early, Chocolate shop not always open
