Not far from the beach, I enjoyed high-quality, all-organic food. The taste was okay, but the service was great, even though the kitchen was a little slow.

Incredible Food and Amazing Service - Edit
This is such a gem of a spot. I took a bunch of non vegans and they all loved it! The staff were so welcoming and made us an antipasti selection (the stuffed courgette flowers were unmatched). We had a variety of pastas, salads and the mushroom burger and everything was so delicious.

Absolute treasure of a restaurant - Edit
One of the best vegan places I’ve eaten in. Absolutely worth the visit. The food is fantastic, the stuff is very kind and helpful. They even have books, crayons, high chairs and changing tables for kids. We loved everything we tasted there and will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

A must-visit for vegan cuisine in Ostia - Edit
I had a fantastic experience at Status Quo. The food was excellent, the service warm and professional, and the location pleasant and inviting. I tried the fried zucchini flowers with sage mayonnaise, followed by tagliatelle with hazelnut ragout and porcini mushrooms. For dessert, I had the white chocolate meteorite with strawberry cream, whipped cream, and salted caramel. Each dish was well-prepared and satisfying, and the dessert was especially memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality vegan dining in Ostia.

Posto accogliente e confortevole con un menù all'altezza della tradizione vegana e con scelte anche originali. Personale simpatico e alla mano. Avrei voluto assaggiato tutto il menù ma mi sono accontentato dell' antipasto di fiori di zucca pastellati alla farina di ceci, una buona tagliatella al ragù di nocciole per seguire con le polpette su letto di verza e infine con lo squisito tiramisù. Un buon motivo per ritornare e continuare con il menù.

Amazing vegan menu. Absolutely delicious presentation and outstanding quality and taste. It's such a delight to have an option to order from a full vegan menu. We got there starving 20 minutes before closing and they still fed us a fabulous lunch. Thank you we'll be back for sure

The starter tasted really great, but the main dish was disappointingly simple, just pasta in loads of oil and a couple of mushrooms. After reading all the good reviews and pictures of really elaborate dishes I didn't expect to end up with something so simple. Also I am not much of a fun of fake meat, but the menu was full of it, so there was little choice for me.

All of the food at status quo was delicious! From the appetizer to the desserts you can really tell that they put love into their food. The fried sage leaves (appetizer) and tagliatelle with hazelnut ragout (main course) were absolutely mouthwatering. Would recommend to anyone!!

Best vegan restaurant around Roma - Edit
We had a fantastic experience at the Status Quo. No other restaurant we tried in and around Rome came even close. It was everything we expected from an Italian dining experience. We had a mixed platter of antipasti, two different pasta dishes, tiramisu and canolli for desert, accompanied by a nice glass of wine. Everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and professional, the atmosphere pleasant. We would consider to come back to Ostia just for this restaurant.

Went for lunch with a non vegan friend, he couldn't believe what he was eating was all vegan! We tasted a few dishes from starters to dessert and they were all excellent. Definitely recommend!
