Some nice vegan options

They have some vegan options, but the quality is inconsistent. I liked their vegan rendang sandwich and Oatly soft serve, but not so much their dark chocolate peanutbutter cup and coconut yoghurt with cereals.

They also sell several vegan pastries by Willem-pie, a.o.: stroopwafels, banana bread, pandan/coconut cake, oat/hazelnut/date cookie, ube cookie and pink cake. The ube cookie, stroopwafels and pink cake are my favourites.

Please be aware that their opening hours can he unreliable. Their renovation in Nov 2024 wasn’t mentioned on their website, Google maps or Instagram, so I went there for nothing.

Oatly soft serve in cone with raspberry coulis for €3.50. The coulis (€1) was nothing special, but the cone was crispy and the soft serve was creamy and smooth. at STACH food in Utrecht +3

They offer little pieces of baked goods so you can taste test. I tried the "oat cookie hazelnut dat" and "banana bread" and both were amaaazing.
The "pandan coconut loaf" is TO DIE for. Soft, sweet, fluffy, perfect flavour. The "ube cookie" is just as good.
I love that they have oatly soft serve, and their extra ordinary toppings make up for the fact it's unflavoured. The salt and date syrup actually go so well with eachother, I didn't taste much of the olive oil. Even the fact that their waffle cups are vegan - hello???

Everything I got here was extremely delicious, the little corner store is comfortable and the staff is kind. Even the opening hours are excellent for a cafe.
I would give 5 stars.

Simple Soft Serve

They were out of cones, so I got a cup of Oatly soft serve. Nothing exciting, but still enjoyable.

Pros: clearly-marked vegan options, no upcharge for plant-based milk, discount for own cup

Cons: limited vegan options, disposable cups

great for snacks

nice place in the city to get something quick to eat. i tried the oatly soft serve here and it was sooo delicious definitely recommend !!!

Some options

I didn’t want a meal, just something small to take away. I got some vegan butter cups. From the store selection of small snacks, there were not many vegan options. I think this small store is better for a takeaway meal like vegan sandwiches.

Vegan Sandwiches

I had a delicious vegan sandwich for take away with vegan "beef" and a tasty vegan spicy sauce. There are other vegan sandwiches available too, also you can choose between white and dark bread. Dark bread is charged extra, which I dislike though.

Pros: Vegan Sandwiches, Dark bread optional

Cons: Extra cost for dark bread

Vegan lunch to go

We had a sandwich here for lunch. Several vegan options are available as well as prepaid food and curries. The sandwich was big and tasty, but they only had white bread available when we were there. Also one employee had to make all the food and attend to customers at the same time, which made it rather slow. But the sandwiches were good, great lunch for on the go!

Pros: Several vegan options , Healthy and thoughtful composition, Also many vegan treats

Cons: Not all bread available, Slow service

Vegan dark chocolate peanut butter cup!!

This big peanut butter cup is homemade and SO rich in flavour. It is slightly chunky and crunchy on the inside! Totally recommend it. It costs 2,95 euros but you will not regret it, trust me.

Pros: Big size!, Rich flavour of chocolate!

Cons: Slightly expensive (but still worth the money!)
