Fun night out for adults - Edit
Spotlight cabaret puts a fun adult spin on dinner theatre. The shows are silly and funny with great singers and ridiculous story lines. Your ticket includes the show and an excellent four course meal. There is a bread basket on the table, but we were told the bread is not vegan. Once you order, the vegan meal is typically comprised of salad, followed by soup (always tomato when we’ve been there). There is an intermission during the show, which is when they serve the entree (usually something tofu based and spicy) and dessert (choice of either a decadent chocolate cake or a fruit plate). The dinner theatre runs in the fall and winter, and they do sell out quickly, especially the weekend shows.

Fully vegan fine dining with show!! - Edit
Such an amazing ambiance. The theater was amazing - so hilarious, and such good singing! What made me choose them is that they also advertise on their website that all their dinner theaters have a vegan option for each of the 4 courses. No other dinner theater in Edmonton does this! It's also very easy to request vegan and allergy accomodations. The food was amazing. Started out with a creamy tomato soup and bread, then an apple salad, then a curry tofu steak, and ended with a delicious chocolate cake.
Read moreOverall, an absolutely fantastic experience. I am absolutely returning for their next production. The owners of the cabaret also were part of the production and helped run plates when it was time for the next course, it was fantastic. Absolutely recommend for vegan date nights!
Pros: Well thought out vegan options, Very vegan and allergy aware, Locally owned and operated
Cons: Salad was the same as the omni, but sans cheese
