Mindblowing - Edit
I'm simultaneously so glad we got to go to this place in Edinburgh and also disappointed we won't have time to go again, because it was amazing. Mainly because of the smoked "ribs" I got that was so much closer to an actual pork-like texture than anything else I'd ever eaten - like not even on the same level. Felt like I had time travelled to the future, or maybe the past before I was veg at all! We also got the ravioli (very tasty) and the tiramisu for dessert (heavenly). Would have loved to come back to try something else, but alas, I'll wait for the restaurants back home to catch up.

Best Vegan Food EVER - Edit
This place is SENSATIONAL. Simply the best vegan food I have ever had. Delicious, fresh and it is a real treat as a vegan to get such high quality dessert options. It is more expensive than average places but I believe it is worth it.

You won’t believe it’s vegan - Edit
Sora Diana was a birthday treat from my partner and after just finishing our meal we want to come back! We had the supplì and bread w/ butter to start (butter was unbelievable) and the truffle sausage gnocchi and caccio e pepe spaghettoni for mains. It was so delicious, and we don’t understand how they made the food, it was scarily good (doubted the veganness)! We also had the tiramisu and tiramisu espresso martini, so delicious and could fool anyone!

Out of this world food! - Edit
Ate here last night and the food was stunning. We started with the rice balls and the funghi, both absolutely blew us away including the non vegan who was with us. We followed up with Roman Pizzas, both amazing but the porchetta and rosemary roasted potatoes were the star of the show, the porchetta tasted like real meat!!!! My wife had the ravioli with nduja and cream cheese and I can honestly say I have never tasted pasta so good before!

Pros: Food, Restaurant ambience , Staff
Cons: I live 500 miles away , Not local to me

So delicious but too expensive! - Edit
The food is so delicious and the pizza was huge! Service is the best, very attentive! Unfortunately very expensive, especially the pasta for what it is! Might get crowded at peak hour. I wanted to try the tiramisu, but I was full and the prices were shocking.😅

Truffle pasta 😍😅 $$$ - Edit
The truffle pasta was a dream. We also enjoyed the garlic bread and wanted to order the pepperoni pizza, but they were sold out of it already! Staff was great, food was delicious and well salted, and some good ev olive oil was offered at the table with our meal. Tiramisu was light, fluffy, and not too sweet. I loved it. Quite pricy for a dessert, though not bad if you’re okay to put down.
Read moreFree water at the table and we would have loved a slightly bigger portion of the pasta, but otherwise all was good. I also wish the tea wasn’t on the dessert menu, as we got those options last, but I suppose anyone could just ask for it if they want it earlier. We margarita took pizza to go. Pizza was decent, but doesn’t compare to the pasta.

Delicious food, busy atmosphere - Edit
The food was absolutely amazing. We had the rips and the dish with different meat alternatives. Also bread with different types of butter and a fennel salad. Best meat alternative we have ever eaten. We knew beforehand that they would be very busy and we would only have the table for 1.5 hours. We still wanted dessert but as the waitress was very busy she never saw us trying to order until it was to late. But they were apologetic and we got the dessert to go and on the house. But for the pricier food i would have liked for them to have enough waiters to cater to their guests.

Amazing vegan deliciousness - Edit
We loved our dinner. It was so delicious. Although not the lowest cost, it’s well worth it. Lots of gluten-free option available. Delicious appetizers and desserts as well as friendly service. Thursday night is all you can eat pasta night! 6 different pastas and three appetizers.

Wonderful food and atmosphere - Edit
We just found this place last night, and had a superb meal. The staff were great, the food excellent and the music was not too loud so we could chat easily. A great addition to Edinburgh's growing list of vegan restaurants.

Food was amazing - Edit
The food was incredible, we had the charcuterie board appetizer, the ravioli and the mixed faux meat plate entrees and tiramisu for dessert - all delicious and beautifully presented. The space was really cute as well. The only drawbacks are it was quite expensive, especially the cocktail I got - which was fine but definitely not worth 14 pounds - and they seemed a bit understaffed the night we went, it took a little over 2 hrs for us to get from sitting to paying. I’d say definitely a must visit if you have the time and some cash to spend.

All you can eat pasta!!! Plus amazing soup - Edit
The all you can eat pasta was incredible. We tried four different flavours, with our favourite being the pesto.

Excellent Vegan Italian with great food and welcoming staff. - Edit
Visited this Italian near Edinburgh uni. Deceptively spacious with wee nooks and crannies. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Non stop pasta on a Thursday; for £35 you get 3 starters and constant servings of various pastas from staff until you can eat no more. I opted for the regular menu, as I fancied the fillet steak with roast potatoes (or chips). It comes with cheesy sauce but I swapped for mushroom sauce. It was delicious and I savoured every mouthful. I finished with a spicy virgin margarita which was also excellent. All came to £47 with one bottle of corona zero including the 12.5% optional tip, but I would say it was worth it. I'm looking forward to returning.

Excellent service, tasty dinner! - Edit
We definitely would come back again. Our experience with the staff was top notch. They spent time after our meal to recommend other vegan places to visit while we were in town, and every recommendation was spot on. I think service truly makes or breaks a meal, and this was excellent. Our food was also great- we had the Pasta Nonstop, so we were able to try several of their pastas (the tiniest complaint- because of this, it felt like the pasta was not quite as fresh as if we had ordered specific dishes, but all of them tasted wonderful), and the starters were also perfect. We're so glad we stopped by here.

Fantastic food - Edit
A long-overdue visit to Sora Diana, and it was well worth the wait!
Read moreIt’s a spacious restaurant with an Italian menu that feels more authentic to Italy than what you typically find in Scotland. While there are some pasta dishes, I was pleasantly surprised to see a wider variety of options beyond the usual pizza and pasta focus found in many Italian spots here.
I asked for a recommendation and was advised to try the ravioli along with the fennel and orange side—it was a fantastic choice. The side dish acted as a palate cleanser, enhancing each bite of the ravioli. I’m one of those vegans who isn’t the biggest fan of vegan cheese, but I have to say, the ravioli and its filling were magical—possibly the best I’ve ever had.
If you’re looking to treat yourself, I can’t recommend Sora Diana enough!
Pros: Food, Staff, 100%

Perfect Follow-up to Sora Lella - Edit
We attended Sora Diana on its opening night with a group of friends. Compared to Sora Lella, there is a wider variety of traditional Italian dishes offered, with more mock meats & cheeses.
