Delicious burgers - Edit
Have been here twice now since staying in Fukuoka and it’s super tasty. Have had the cheeseburger and avocado burger. Both are very filling! Also tried the blueberry tart which is delicious

I’m not usually a fan of non-meaty burgers, however the patty was seasoned nicely and added texture to the burger. The lettuce was fresh and the avocado was perfectly ripe!

We went there for lunch and the staff (just one person in the local) told us it takes 40 minutes until we get something, which was okay for us. So we sat down and had a look at the menu and there weren't any burger to choose like we saw on other reviews. Only one burger set for take out. There are only 3 dishes for lunch and they are very expensive in my opinion. We left the restaurant without eating there.

Read moreThe restaurant is small with just a few tables. You don't really have to interact with staff as you have to look up the menu and order using a QR code. They don't offer many main dishes apart from burgers, a taco plate and a pizza.
We got the taco plate which was just average, nothing special.
Paying by credit card is okay.

The staff was really helpful and kind. The burgers were good, the bread crunchy. Unfortunately the wine bottles couldn’t be opened.. but the beer was really good! We got more fries for free because we needed to „wait so long“ but the food didn’t take too long.. really really nice staff!!

Sadly missed out on the breakfast menu and settled with the cheeseburger and wow! Such a nice surprise. Large, tasty, not too dense and filling enough to get you through the afternoon. Paired with a really nice cold brew coffee.

Found my Healthy Burger in Fukuoka - Edit
I have been looking for a healthy burger ever since I arrived to Fukuoka. Well, I found it at Sonu Sonu along with the most refreshing Macha i’ve discovered thus far and rich, flavorful curry. I also like the long opening hours which provides more flexibility.

I had the taco plate and my partner had the pizza, we shared some fries, but we're still hungry afterwards. I think the pizza is dried rather than baked, it was very oily, but tasty! The soy meat on the taco plate was very nice and so was the sauce on the salad. The fries were delicious but such a small portion!! A drink can be added onto the taco plate for a reduced price, my boyfriend had orange juice and it was nice, but again, very small!

Read moreThe staff were friendly, and it was easy to order from your table using the QR code and free wifi. I really appreciated the pictures on the menu as some of the English descriptions were limited. My order (chocolate tart and a matcha latte) was delicious and nicely presented.
For anyone visiting in the future: Sonu Sonu has signs indicating they are going cashless soon, so be prepared to pay with a card!

cute vibe, tasty comfort food, quick and easy service (order online by scanning qr code). we ordered two burgers with fries (teriyaki & cheeseburger). both were hearty and flavorful and super satisfying. fries were tasty too, albeit a bit oily. yummy organic hot sauce is available, plus lemon water. overall super tasty, would come back. (our wait staff didn’t speak English with us but it was easy nonetheless with straightforward menu & ordering from your phone.)

Came here a couple times while in Fukuoka. It's a relatively small place with a chill vibe. You order through a QR code on the table. They offer a few different burgers, keema curry, taco rice, coffee, beer, and some nice cakes. The soy meat used here is quite nice.
