Yes, the sesame cheesecake is that good - Edit
I love black sesame, so it's amazing to find a cheesecake version! Unique and so delicious. The matcha tiramisu was pretty good, but the cheesecake was better. Also had a really nice hojicha latte.

Sadly a tasteless cheesecake 😒 - Edit
Not sure what all the fuss is about for their cheesecakes, or if I just chose the wrong flavour, as I left half of it due to just not really enjoying it (which is very unlike me mor any of us for a chocolate desert!). The latte floater was nice and different though. Lovely waitress too.

Sweets and caffeine - Edit
The speciality of this place are the squared cheesecakes or cakes, and caffeinated beverages - coffee or matcha. They don't do decaf. What I liked the most was the chocolate cake part - moist, flavorful, yummy. There are a couple of seated places outside and like four tables inside. When we went there it was full and we were told we could seat by the huge white sink, where they di workshops, I believe.

Unbelievable vegan cheesecakes! - Edit
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Soi & Co. Lovely, calm vibes and the food was delicious. We tried the yuzu cheesecake and the tofu-creme cake, and had the iced matcha latte float. Everything was 10/10 - you would not believe that this is vegan!

A Truly Special Café - Edit
Soi & Co is such a unique and beautiful café — minimalistic yet full of character.
Read moreI had one of the best matcha lattes I’ve ever tasted in Berlin — authentically Japanese, with a grandiose texture that made it feel really special.
I can’t wait to come back and try even more of their offerings. If you love matcha, this place is an absolute must!
Pros: Relaxed and special atmosphere

Never really had anything like this before and if was delicious. Portion size is good and the prices aren’t crazy. A few different versions to choose from - I had the Yuzu flavour one which was yummy. Some indoor seats and a few outside. Dogs allowed

Japanese quality with a twist - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages but somehow never went there.
Read moreNow I finally tried it. The have a simple range of desserts, only a few options same for drinks but that’s totally sufficient. It’s on the pricier side but worth the money since one piece is very unique in flavour and not the usual to go dessert.
The overall atmosphere is more hipster and fancy but not really a place where you will sit longer since it’s also rather small.

Favourite place for matcha & fancy Japanese desserts - Edit
Soi is a very tasty indulgence. Their tiny cakes are both beautiful and really delicious, and they’re almost always incorporating flavours found in Japanese cuisine (yuzu, matcha, black sesame, etc.) which make their dessert range really unique. You can also get ceremonial matcha, so straight matcha served in beautiful chawan bowls, which is not too common in a city where matcha lattes are much more easily found.

Out of this world - Edit
I think I was close to tears and incredibly caffeinated after this experience. The tiramisu is next level, the matcha affogato made me smile a big toothy green grin. The staff were kind and very tolerant of my drooling at the counter. I was like a child in a new playground. Take my money.

Almost every other bakery could learn from them - Edit
They were closed when I last came through Berlin, but finally got a chance to try them on this trip. It’s so well done that it makes me annoyed when I think of any other vegan cheesecake I’ve ever bought.
Read moreWe tried the matcha tiramisu, black sesame cheesecake and a citrus tart. Place was packed, seems very (rightly) popular.
They also appear to make their own miso, which I wish I could grab now but the format of my trip prohibits it.

Me and my partner went here mid week and managed to actually sit down for several hours, working on laptops . This itself is a surprise because damn this place is popular - and for good reason.
