Award-Winning Restaurant Reopens in Gion with a Fresh New Concept! - Edit
snack and bar TSUNAGU
Read moreSaishuan Shiraki was a beloved and popular spot in Kyoto, but sadly had to close in February 2025 due to the owner Miho-san’s health.
The good news? She’s back!
In April, she reopened in Gion with a new name: TSUNAGU.
The menu is smaller this time, but just like before, you can enjoy delicious handmade dishes with vegan and vegetarian options available.
At TSUNAGU, you can sing karaoke, dance to disco music, and enjoy drinks paired with Miho-san’s signature small plates.
Her cheerful personality lights up the room, and before you know it, two hours have flown by.
The handmade obanzai dishes are just as amazing as ever!
