Yea its a hot dog place but seriously THE BURGER IS THE BEST!!!! Lentil patty that is crispy on the outside. Fresh and delicious. Oh and they also have vegan donuts!

I loved my hot dog here 4 years ago and I loved it today. The owner is so friendly and kind, and I love that they proudly offer and declare plant based options. I also love that there are two choices of vegan hot dog, and any set up can be vegan. Hooray Simons!

Everything is clearly labeled and with all the choices for toppings, it all is so delicious! They have 2 options for the plant-based “hotdog” but the California vegan is the best in my opinion versus the tofurkey option!

Pulled up to Simon’s Hot Dogs as it is across the street from my hotel. Ordered the cowboy with the California vegan as my dog choice, as well as fries. The cowboy came with chili. I liked it overall but would definitely prefer a street dog. I like my hot dog bun toasted and the dog black. I’m talking burnt burnt. All in all, I would visit again due to the plethora of options.

Such a great find - pretty much every item on the menu can be made vegan (and with everything being substituted for a vegan alternative, not just removing toppings!) - plus you get the choice of 2 different types of vegan sausage! The best vegan hot dogs I have ever had hands down. The owners are very friendly and their menu is reasonaby priced!

Any hot dog on the menu can be veganized including all dogs, sauces, cheeses, and even things like bacon bits. The staff are also knowledgeable and considerate, going far enough to say “everything in that bag is vegan” when I picked it up, which instills confidence. Glad to see them succeeding!

I love this place because it’s both vegan friendly and I can take my meat eating friends here too. Everything is clearly labeled vegan and what’s not. Potato salad is delicious and you’ve got to try the Hawaiian hotdog or the Colombian because they are very unique and delicious.

The Columbian vegan hotdog is delicious! The sauce, the chips on top, the pineapple and jalapenos such a unique commination of flavors! The vegan empanadas were so good, the sauce really makes it! We also got the vegan dessert and they are like yummy cream filled shortbread cookie sandwiches! So yummy, would go great with some Columbian coffee!

Hot dogs used to be my favorite chilhood fast food, I got very excited finding this restaurant ofering two vegan sausage options and all of the topings plant based as well. I ordered the vegan Colombian with California sausage and it was as good as a hot dog gets. I'll have to try de tofurky sausage to tell you the diference.

I’ve always loved the hot dogs with an amazing variety of toppings. It’s great that most of the sides are vegan, too, including potato salad, fried plantains, and sausage cheese fries! And you don’t want to miss brunch on the weekends. I had an arepa (thick corn meal cake) filled with Beyond sausage and cheese. So tasty!

Not one to prefer fake meat products, I ordered the empanadas, which is an order of 3. I thought it would be reasonably sized. It came out more as a small side. The flavor tasted as if it came from the freezer section of a grocery store.

Almost all of their menu items can be made vegan. They have 2 different vegan dogs to choose from and a variety of toppings. I love their Sonoran dog with vegan bacon bits and their salchipapas. They also have amazing alfajores cookies. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, along with the rest of the staff. Great spot.

Pretty much anything can be veganized here. Even the sides like coleslaw and cheeze sauce. We have tried the original with the Italian dog at a veg fest which was tasty. We tried the cowboy with California dog and cheeze fries on the side. Yessssss that cheeze sauce is similar to the potato/carrot/nooch recipe I love to make at home. They also have vegan dessert.

The chili topped the dog - Edit
I got the chili dog and the California dog, and honestly was not impressed with the dog itself. It was pretty bland in comparison to the chili and for about 8 bucks, I expected more. The chili on its own had a nice sauce, and a hint of savory umami, and quite a bit of sweetness which I was not expecting for chili. Still the chili provided the majority of the flavor and I wasn’t thrilled enough to finish the one I ordered at VegFest.

Simon's hot dogs are some of the best I've ever had! They have two vegan dogs to choose from, one that is soy and the other that I am not quite sure what it is made of! The California vegan dog is so delicious but the contents of it still baffle me! I highly recommend Simon's Hot Dogs but just know if you are local, you won't be able to quit!
