Delicious red curry - Edit
I had the red curry, it was basic but lovely. Just curry, rice, three pieces of tofu, nondescript leafy greens (I couldn’t identify in poor light), and chilli sauce. I kinda wish there was more vegetables though

Fresh vegan options - Edit
Food stand located inside the Oslo Street Food Hall - our dishes were prepared fresh once ordered. Every meat option also has a vegan alternative which is super nice.
Read morePrices are a bit higher as always wirhin food halls but flavor was good and the ingredients seemed fresh - and we also got one extra dumpling😉

Bao for the win! - Edit
I just spend 10 days in Oslo for work and had the chance to try as much veggie food as possible. The bao bun sandwiches were easily one of my favorite flavors during my trip.
Read moreI also had the veggie dumplings (steamed) which were tasty too but, I'd visit again any day to have more Bao.
Pros: delicious bao, in a food court

Tasty tofu curry - Edit
Out of the number of vegan mains available we got a red curry with tofu. It was really delicious and a decent portion. It came with some nice toppings & side salad in the bowl Cost NOK169. The food court has a fun lively vibe and there’s some other vegan options across the stalls

Delicious vegan food - Edit
Silk Road is located inside the Oslo Street Food market. There are lots of different stalls, so it is a good place to go with a mixed group of vegans/vegetarian/etc. I’ve been there several times now and the food has always been delicious. Some of the food is a bit spicy, which I loved, but I know that isn’t for everyone. I highly recommend this place.

Cons: No complaints here!

Small but powerful - Edit
Boa buns are never big enough. They’re so good, but they only ever come in pairs and I’m not made of money. My only criticism of these bao buns is that asparagus isn’t a great source of protein, so it wasn’t really sufficient as a lunch. Maybe you’re now thinking, “wow, this girl is still on the protein bandwagon. She still thinks there has to be protein in every meal. Millennial”. And to that I would say… damn, the only protein on the menu now is me because I just got roasted.

Yummy - Edit
The dumplings were nice and rich, but the side salad was very spicy. Be prepared to buy a drink or bring one! You could decide whether the dumplings were going to be steamed or deep fried. My friend though the bao buns were good as well.

Delicious food - Edit
Silk Road is located inside Oslo Street Food. The vendor was very quiet when we arrived, we ordered one of all three menu items. The food was really delicious. As the vendor is inside a market hall it can get loud, and it's not the cleanest / tidiest, we had to wipe our table down when we got there (though this is not the vendors fault!)
Read moreFood was a reasonable price for Oslo. Quick, and the vendor told us how long it would be when we ordered.

Good bao but felt freaked out by the inclusion of asparagus in the middle of February. Where did the poor spargel come from?

Very tasty steam buns - Edit
I came here for lunch today and really enjoyed the steam buns with tempura asparagus - really fresh and tasty. There are only 3 options on the menu but they all look really good! The food court is a little gloomy but still a pleasant place to sit for a casual meal.

Sooo good! - Edit
We had all 3 available dishes and they were not only very filling but also delicious! The dumplings were a mushroom-bomb, the curry tasted very authentic and the buns had a very nice texture. All super tasty. Hip place with different (non-vegan) food stalls around and a bench-style seating area in the middle.
