Delicious, but small portions - Edit
We tried slices of both pizzas (margarita and bacon), the egg sandwich/burger, a slice of the rainbow cake and a strawberry smoothie. Everything was delicious (even though it’s all gluten free!) - I just wish there was more of it. #Veganuary

Great Egg Sandwich, dull cakes - Edit
We really liked the Egg sandwich with Yuba and even went back to get it again. The cakes - we had Rainbow and Black Tea Pudding Pie - seem universally lauded, but we thought they didn't taste like much of anything really.

Read moreThe strawberry cake was tasty, cream and strawberry-y. The rainbow cake dough essentially tasted like the strawberry one just colored. But without the extra cream/strawberry layer it was less exciting.
Slices are quite small.
They only have a few seats inside.

Got the rainbow cake but it looked prettier than it tasted to be honest. The strawberry smoothie with oatmilk was good and the mango smoothie was decent. The latte was good and their other cakes were maybe a bit better

We had 2 smoothies (was very nice!) two burgers also but were really small and didn’t come with anything else, they tasted lovely but were on the pricey side. And we shared the rainbow cake which looked amazing! But the taste was very disappointing, it didn’t taste sweet like a cake and was very doughy inside, maybe because it’s gluten free also but was unimpressed by it.

Stopped here for a quick snack . The cake was dense and tasty. The pizza was so so but still enough to hold me over til dinner. They were about to close but the person working was kind enough to still serve me.

The presentation of the rainbow cake is absolutely gorgeous. Flavour wise it’s subtle and complex, but not overpoweringly sweet like other Japanese cakes I’ve had. Absolutely recommend

Only word of warning is that hot coffees come in glass cups, so they are hard to drink. Recommend getting an iced drink.

We ordered "bacon" pizza, chocolate cake and strawberry milkshake. The pizza was soggy, half cold and half burning , "bacon" was very good but it was the only thing good about it. The chocolate cake was nice, nothing special about it. And the milkshake wasn't really good.

We walked far out the way from main spots to find this place, it was very small, burgers were sold out so had both pizza slices which weren’t bad, tried the rainbow cake which was very dry & tasteless however the matcha latte & matcha tiramisu were beautiful!

We tried THE rainbow cake, and while it was good, and most certainly every crumb was eaten, I didn't find this cake to be overly fantastic; it certainly LOOKS special, but I don't think it would be so popular if it were just an ordinary white cake without the added food colouring (which are all vegetable based colouring by the way! Very cool)

So fun to be able to get to choose from such a selection of treats! We shared the rainbow cake and Mont Blanc cake. I liked the rainbow cake wasn’t overly sweet and the cake to frosting ratio was really nice - I’m used to North American cakes that are usually more frosting than cake. Other than that it didn’t have a huge amount of flavour. I preferred the Mont Blanc for the really nice light hazelnut flavour. Both cakes had nice texture and density.
