Tucked down a side street in Surry Hills in a very unassuming way, Shift Eatery is a wonderful surprise. Kind, friendly, upbeat and helpful staff, a good selection of all vegan dishes and mouthwatering tastes. A great addition to the growing selection of vegan breakfast hangouts but a pretty good choice for lunching too. To trump it all, cold and freezer cabinets with a good range of vegan products to take home.

AMAZING sandwiches!! - Edit
I am always returning to Shift Eatery whenever I can because of how simple yet amazing their sandwiches are. My favourites are the Shroom Toastie and all of their jackfruit sandwiches. The servings aren't too small either, i'm usually very comfortably full after finishing. Their drink range is also great as well as the amazing vegan desserts. They also have an amazing deli full of vegan ingredients such as cheese, ice cream, spreads. Be sure to bring a cooler bag if you want to transport any goodies home!

Shift Eatery has inspired me to open a vegan cafe / deli in Melbourne, as we are missing this in the southern suburbs. I absolutely loved this place. So many choice but opted for smashed avocado as usual... with cream cheese and kale pesto. So tasty and fresh. I sat and ate, drank the berry smoothie and a coffee and contemplated how many more things I could try in one sitting - blissful.
