Vegane Rolle - Edit

Best falafel in town! - Edit
A Lebanese street food place, very popular among young people of the town. The falafel balls are so crunchy and the vegetables are so fresh. The price is at 5 euros and the portion is more than enough. I'm not a fan of their famous vegan döner, but I really liked the makali wrap. They also offer mezze teller: hummus was good, but I didn't enjoy the dolma and the mutabal. I wish they had more tables and improve a bit the hygiene. Totally recommend it tho!

Kebab with mock meat - Edit
The first kebab place in Göttingen that serves vegan meat (that I‘m aware of). The seitan based meat is from „Milu Leipzig“, which seems to be THE brand right now when it comes to mock kebab in otherwise omnivorous kebab restaurants.
Read moreUnfortunately there’s no complete menu available anywhere online right now.
Clearly labeled vegan options I can remember:
- Kebab
- Dürüm (welp, not labeled tbh but available when you ask)
- Magli (sandwich or plate) with cauliflower, aubergine, fries, hummus OR taboulé salad
- Falafel
- Pizza, several different ones
- Fries
I had the Magali plate, it was quite nice but nothing to write home about. Still I appreciate the options this store brings to Göttingen and I‘d bet most people will not come to this store to eat something without mock meat in it.
Also I heard rumors that they’d be experimenting with vegan Shawarma. Unfortunately the friendly guy working there seemed to be new and couldn’t tell us anything about that.
