Good falafel - Edit
Handy place to eat if in this part of town. Had falafel wrap which was very big with cabbage, hummus, tomatoes, beetroot and tahini. Costs just a few £ and quick.

Good falafel but rude staff - Edit
I enjoyed the food, prices are low. Good side dishes like tahini, salads, humus.
Read moreBut staff was pretty rude and I wasn't given receipt when I payed by card.
I felt like guy didn't want to be there , and was like loud and manly :" next next, what you want know? First order this! Blabla". and he was throwing stuff on to tortilla like it's garbage.
Pros: Falafel is good
Cons: Rude staff

Just gotta say it... BEST FALAFEL SANDWICH IN BELGRADE!! - Edit
Let's just say there's a close-nearby in fact, runner-up to this title... Without a doubt, if the award were to be acknowledged for local accolades, it would have to be the perfectly crafted falafel sandwich at Shawarma Bar (Hanan). With homemade falafel, all the best fixings, spreads and fillings... With or without the tzatziki yogurt sauce. This vegan/vegetarian masterpiece sandwich is the champion in this beautiful city, infused with the love and fast-fine food greatness that everyone must experience... Try it!

Welcoming place with great food and low prices - Edit
We got a falafel platter which was plentiful and had even fries and a 0.5l bottle of juicedrink coming with it. It tasted great, the falafel was made fresh in front of our eyes and was fulfilling, but even more we enjoyed the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. Also they spoke english well and some other international languages as well. Really nice experience, especially as the night before we had a kind of odd customer-service experience in another more expensive place I shall not mention.
Read moreDefinetely reccomend for a nice falafel plate/sandwich and a friendly place. Seemed to be vegan-aware as well.
Would give 5 stars, but in happycow "Five star rating is only an option for fully vegan and vegetarian restaurants".
Pros: Welcoming and english-speaking staff, Plentifull and tasty food, Low prices
Cons: Only various forms of falafel to offer.

Best vegan meal in town - Edit
I stumbled upon this place during a visit to Belgrade. The staff spoke both excellent English and Russian and was quite helpful in recommending vegetarian options on the menu. We had a falafel platter meal with tortilla. It was nice to hear the staff could distinguish between vegans and vegetarians, as they offered not to add yoghurt sauce for the vegan meal. They also have baklava and very nice Arabic coffee. The only downside about this place was that you could smell the meat being cooked but this was only when near the counter, no big deal.

Definitely recommended.

Falafel at its best - Edit
We went here during a short brake in Belgrade. The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English fluently. We ordered falafel sandwiches and a plate with hummus. Both were highly delicious, especially the falafel, which was crisp on the outside and full of spices. The place is tiny but has some outdoor seatings.

Falafel to die for - Edit
We went there only once and only had falafel sandwich. Therefore, beware, this is a very limited review!
Read moreHowever, we absolutely loved the crispy and tasty falafel and the simple but decent sandwich it was wrapped into: hummus, tomatoes, lettuce, onions & spicy sauce). Also, the staff was superfriendly and they're very happy if you speak a bit of Arabic ;-)
Note: 1/2 of us lived in the Middle East and we are both not easily convinced (and fooled) when it comes to Falafel...
Pros: very friendly staff, super cheap, amazing falafel
Cons: rather meat-heavy place
