Delicious vegan / vegetarian restaurant near Kawai Kanjiro historic house, Kyoto - Edit
We walked by this restaurant a block from the Kawai Kanjiro house, a wonderful visit for pottery enthusiasts and for traditional Kyoto townhouse architecture. We are so glad we stopped in. We ordered the Namaste lunch set, with 2 choices of vegan curries, bread, salad , soup , a drink and a small dessert. Everything was delicious and easy to share. This restaurant is quiet and welcoming , the waitstaff speak English and there is an English menu. There is room for about 30 guests,with several 6 seat tables , so this would be a great place for groups. Spicing can be specified from mild to hot. We loved the naan and whole wheat paratha.

About 10 min walk to the mountain from Keihan Gojo station. Really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and wonderful tasty curry !!

Intimate indian restaurant in a nice neigbourhood. We had 2 different paneer dishes and both were divine.
