Homemade grub - Edit
Needed a quick bite before rushing to get the train back to Bangkok, and this place was the perfect little lunch. We didn’t order off a menu, just filled our plates from whatever was precooked in the steam pans. There were only three or four different dishes—a mixture of mock meat, mushroom stipe, eggplant and some other veggies—so we took a bit of everything, plus a scoop of white rice. I think we paid about 50 baht per plate. Very flavoursome, love the kaffir lime leaf flavour in particular, and glad they didn’t skimp on the chilli!

So tasty and friendly owners - Edit
The food was so so good. I had a few meals and all were so tasty. The sweet lady has driven me with her roller back to the hostel because of the heat. She was so sweet. I would definitely come again, but my trip is over.

Authentic Thai Cuisine - Edit
The restaurant is under renovation currently, but we got a home cooking experience instead.
Read moreThe owner is very friendly, the menu quite big and the food absolutely sublime. My Thai girlfriend can attest that it tastes authentic Thai.
The location marker seems misplaced on happy cow, the Google Maps marker is more up to date.
100% recommendation, would come again but unfortunately our stay is over
Pros: Authentic taste, Proper Spicy, Hospitality

Another excellent find…impossible without HappyCow - Edit
A lovely family restaurant ( you use the toilet in the family’s house next door)….as authentic as you get…..a variety of traditional and ‘vegan meat’ dishes….a couple of freebies thrown in, deep fried crunchy tofu skin ( like a vegan pork scratching!) and a sweet tofu and jelly dessert

Good Thai food - Edit
The food was so good that I got the same meal twice. The portion size is decent. Their English is limited but they did at least understand "no spicy" 😅

Typical J restaurant - Edit
Found this place on google maps and then checked it out. Sign is in Thai but the yellow and red were a clue and we then checked out with the owner who confirmed it was J. Quite typical offerings of veg/tofu/mock meat dishes served with rice. Nothing special but filling and good value
