This review will be divided into two parts: service/general behaviour; and food. It is based on one visit - which was truly terrible - and I shan't be visiting them again, nor recommending them to anybody!

I ordered one main and a serving of white rice, which came in at around 82,000 VND. The final charge was 128,000. I didn't spot anything about a service charge on the menu, but let's say I missed it; this is the first time ever I have experienced one set at 50%. And to clarify, there were no serviettes or wet wipes, so I couldn't have incurred a charge for those. In fact, I am in the habit of bringing my own!! Ultimately I paid with a 500,000 bill and was brusquely (suspiciously as it shortly turned out, after I went back to confront the male wait staff) given 203,000 VND in a jumble of concealed notes. Do the maths, it's quite simple! The short-haired, "clean-shaven" moron rather intentionally decided to make an attempt to thieve. Strong, but I can't see any other conclusion. Restaurants can charge what they like, anyone can, as long as they are honest and upfront about pricing. Maybe it's just him, I don't know, maybe they're all in on this opportunistic scamming! I can't speak to his remuneration nor his work conditions in front of house, but taking this out on me is wholly unacceptable!!

Now the food: I had the braised tofu with vegetables (only a few shiitake mushroom slices, some bell pepper bits and around 8 deep-fried soft tofu cubes). Not good value! No way good value, even in a restaurant like this!! Plus the liquid it came in was over-the-top salty. Horrendously so, dangerously so! I've had one day to think about this and I can't help but feel malice was in the heart of the person making it. I did not consume that part of the miserly dish.

What an appalling experience!
