Amazing

The "Salmon" gravalax was absolutely insane! Texture, colours and taste to die for. Highly recommended to try that dish!
We tried the lasagna which was slightly warm, creamy and super tasty and the breakfast burrito which was also absolutely delicious, I don't normally like wraps but this was unreal!
To drink we got a chocolate on the rock, was delicious but a little too heavy for me, I struggled to finish it.

Pros: Creative food, Super tasty, Nice shop in the restaurant

Cons: Menu was a bit confusing

Great smoothie bowls!

I had two delicious smoothie bowls at Sayuri and I also took some dessert to go. Their carrot cake is amazing! 🤩 I went in the morning and it was quiet.

Pros: Great smoothies , Delicious desserts , Retail store

Cons: Busy at night , N/A, N/A

Delicious Kombucha!

Had a couple of tonics to wash down the day, absolutely loved how flavourful the drinks were. If you can ignore the crowd this place attracts, I’m sure you’ll enjoy a good feed.

Pros: The drinks, The staff , Overall menu (so many options)

Cons: The Millennials , The Influencers , The Posers

I like the name and the juice

I’m sorry to give a less than stellar review to any vegan restaurant, but I didn’t care for my meal (so much that I ate less than half). I only ate here once so maybe I was just unlucky. The juice was fantastic. They were way understaffed.

Great food but beware of how busy this place can get

The food here is excellent. For example, the breakfast wrap that I had displayed craftsmanship and didn't fall apart as I ate it. It was firmly cylindrical as I ate it and retained its shape. There is a lot of attention-to-detail that goes into making the food here. There is a huge menu and multiple chefs. The insides of the place had lots of fans, so it was a great place to go to escape the heat. I came once during lunch and the place was completely full of people, so I had to leave and come back in the morning when it was less congested, so be aware this place can get busy. Overall a great place.

Great food regardless of the OTTP vibes!

So other reviewers weren't joking about the "hippies taking themselves too seriously" vibe! It was quite an experience but if you can look past the 'performance' then the food is great and the service is very friendly. They have some really tasty and innovative dishes - loved the vegan cheese platter and the nutella toast - and some cool drinks, like charcoal lemonade. Definitely recommend eating here if you are visiting Ubud, just brace yourself as you walk through the venue!!

Pros: Innovative food and drink options, Friendly staff

Cons: Quite a lot of poseurs, A bit pricier than other vegan options, Always busy

Loved the food here at the restaurant its self was lovely i loved the different style seating areas. The food was delicious. I tried the chickpea omelette. It was really good and the tempeh burger was delicious too. I did get a cake too but wasn’t a fan of the cake it was quite dry

Pros: Great selection of food, Lots of free events

Cons: Can get busy

An influencer’s dream

We ate here a handful of times over a few days, largely as the location was convenient to where we were staying making it the closest vegan outlet, particularly during breakfast hours. The food quality was decent, though definitely on the pricier side for Ubud.
By far the best part of eating here was being entertained by the behaviour of other customers. The hippy culture is strong here but it has morphed into a distinct Silicon Valley variant. Glancing across the room, is was a rare sight to find a face that wasn’t buried in a smartphone or laptop. Many customers appeared to be ‘working’ from their table having ordered maybe a single drink so they could sit and use the wifi for a couple of hours. Quite a few appeared to be capturing footage for their social media followers. This including watching someone trailing one of the waitstaff around the room filming them delivering dishes to tables. Seemed like the staff were patient and put up with a lot.
We tend to like and subscribe to the idea of keeping devices off the table while we eat meals, so found it very interesting how glued to devices everyone seems to be here. No spontaneous conversations with other customers occurred as we’d experienced in other eateries in Ubud, as others that were sitting at some of the larger shared tables with us would barely look up from their MacBook Pro screens.

Vibes !

Great friendly vibes here. I had one of the smoothie bowls and added vegan protein. Huge portion with lots of fruit, sad I didn't get the chance to come here again as menu looked great.

Amazing vegan food

We loved our dinner here so much we came back for breakfast the next day! Extensive vegan menu, raw vegan options and superfoods in everything.
Recommend the cheese platter and tempeh burger. The smoothies are amazing and all the cabinet deserts look delicious! We found the chocolate soft serve a bit “icy” texture but still yum ! Live music every night is awesome and such a vibe! They also have yoga at 8am everyday!

Pros: Raw vegan , Healthy vegan food

Good food, very pretentious atmosphere

We got the omelet and teriyaki tempeh burger, and both were very good. Apple cake was decent, but not amazing. The menu is extensive and has lots of choices that looked tasty. As others have said, the vibe is very hippies-taking-themselves-too-seriously, but if you can ignore the sounds of people's chakras aligning, it's a good spot for lunch.

Too alternative

Unfortunately I can't agree with all the top reviews. The cafe was very cozy and the selection of food was large. The service took a little long, but it was okay. We only had cake, the selection was very large, but unfortunately it didn't convince us in terms of taste. The cake was super dry and didn't taste fresh, the chocolate coating was way too thick and everything was way too sweet.Although it was super comfortable, we didn't really like the atmosphere. The service was very friendly, but some visitors seemed a bit condescending and made you feel a bit uncomfortable.

A nourishing delight!

After a string of disappointing restaurants, we were delighted by SHF. It had a vast menu of standard and more creative vegan dishes, and I felt healthier just reading their descriptions!

We really enjoyed the densely nutritious Peak Performance Bowl (of the day), the build your own smoothie bowl, and the creamy Croque Monsieur - rating each at 4-4.5⭐️. I also liked the Bomb latte, but was very full afterwards. We bought a key lime pie and a blue cheese from Treenut Cheezery (from their grocery section) to go.

Overall, it was such a great experience that we also purchased one of their cookbooks! When in Ubud, this place is worth a visit.

Pros: Delicious, nourishing food, A variety of options, Good grocery section

Great meal and atmosphere

We are visiting Bali, and we are staying in Ubud. We walked down to Sayuri and had a great meal. I had a mac and cheese meal, and my wife had a vegan dragon roll. We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. They were very accommodating. We ordered food to go, and it was packaged sustainably. The meal was great, and we strongly recommend it to visitors

Pros: atmosphere, service, food

Papaya sashimi sushi

I thought it’s a rather interesting idea to use papaya as sashimi. The sauce really helps to elevate the taste of the entire sushi, giving it a somewhat fishy taste to it.

Omoshiroi Vibes!

The first time I visited, I had the Vanilla Gelato, which tasted just like frozen yogurt and left a bad aftertaste. I didn’t enjoy it at all.

The second time I visited, I ordered takeaway. Surprisingly, the Pirate Tonic Khichdi and Vegan Omelette with toast were very tasty and filling.

The cafe had a strong hippie vibe, but as mentioned in one of the reviews, I also observed some self-entitled customers treating the staff arrogantly.

Healthy soul food

Vegan restaurant with a nice atmosphere and vision. I ate here once when there was live music and people were dancing. Good vibes!
I tried the pure cacao and a salad bowl with tempeh.

The pure cacao was served so nicely with a cute inspiring card. I did need to put a lot of sugar in it to make it tasty haha. The salad bowl was fresh, tasty and healthy. I would definitely recommend this place.💚

Such a cool restaurant with live music on stage, busy with people and a quiet upstairs section outside too. Delicious food and the cheese platter was amazing!

Raw food delight!

Finding good raw vegan restaurants is never easy, so they deserve bonus points for an expansive menu with raw and cooked options.

After 2 weeks of eating traditional Indonesian food (and loving it), I needed to give my stomach a break and enjoy western style dishes. We enjoyed their Mac n Cheese and Croque Monsieur. It’s not the best food we’ve ever had, but it definitely hit the spot.

The desserts were delicious too.

Gravlax Grand Slam

Omg what the heck was that!? I just came back from heaven just to write this review. The open faced papaya salmon sandwich just launched me directly to cloud nine. What a delicious and marvelously composed dish. Props to Sayuri for another incredible gastronomic experience. Thank you so much. Tantra for your taste buds.

Food is excellent

Food is so good, every single thing on the menu is a winner. Place is nice but always crowded which is a little too much sometimes. Therefore it’s not too comfortable when it comes to the vibes. Unless you’re into that! (: very individual, but the raw vegan food as well as cooked is AMAZING
