We're only in Göteborg for a short stay, but er have to go back for a second round before we leave!

Small hidden gem in Göteborg - Edit
Nice little restaurant with a small din in area inside. But definitely worth the visit! The two offered meals are top notch! Consider a visit, you won’t regret it ;)

I can't believe I haven't been here before, despite being from Göteborg. I had take away from Sayur and it was so tasty! They offered one hot and one cold dish with basically the same ingredients. I had the warm one and it was super nice! It's perfect to grab food here for picknick in the nearby park Slottsskogen.

Some of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to! - Edit
Entering this small, cosy restaurant on a cold, greyish winter day, I didn't expect to have such an amazing culinary experience. I took the recommended dish (there were two to choose from) and got a plate full of tastes I hadn't experienced before. I found myself eating very slowly to prolong the experience. The food felt like it was cooked with a lot of passion, and even the deliciously fried tempeh was made by the chef. This is probably one of my top 5 best vegan restaurants I've ever tried in my life. Go there!

Read moreI thought the caramellized walnuts were DOPE, that the tempeh had a perfectly fried coating, that the ajvar sauce on the eggplant piece was absolute delish, both of us loved corn-in-fried bread paste thing. (lol) My SO loved the curry sauce and so did I, I also loved using the hot sauce in tiny amounts in combination with the other sauces. 😆 Such a fun plate to share; we both loved it.
I loved the rice balls in the soup, I thought they were zucchini at first. 😆 The sauce tasted just like the ones I’ve made myself at home that I were the most proud of. It felt really familiar and comforting to eat.
And the female server had such a beaming smile; so friendly. Awesome people! 👏 Well-deserved 5 star rating from me.

The reviews are accurate, this is a great restaurant. It has a limited menu but the main dish is a delicious mix of flavour and texture. My only criticism is that there was not enough sauce. You get a big pile of rice but little to wet it with so the meal was a bit dry overall. I noticed other diners also scraping the sauce-covered bits off the top of their rice and leaving the rest.

Traveling can give me worries about finding healthy vegan food to eat, but this place was an oasis of a find. I had their mixed plate which was full of different flavors and textures, and very satisfying. I’ll have to come back and try their other dish.
