Still a Need to Sail Back to the UK - Edit
I was hoping with all my might that this truly would be, if not better, then at least on par with the offerings from my homeland. Alas, it wasn’t to be. While it was by no means bad, it just didn’t quite reach the standard to which I have become accustomed during upbringing. I would love to say that the chips were the star of the show, however they were left languishing in a slightly disappointing third behind the curiously delicious battered sausage and the absolutely superb potato scallops. While these were the good-to-great elements, the items that fell short were the curry sauce and the mushy peas. The former was average at best, and the latter were staggeringly bland. The pickled onion was ok, but not worth the expense.
Read moreMaybe the fact that I had this meal as a delivery affected things slightly, and there was enough here to give me hope, so I am more than willing to give them a second shot.
