Sehr viel leckere vegane Auswahl - Edit
Es gibt ein kaltes und warmes Buffet sowie Suppe und Kuchen. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß und abwechslungsreich, alles schmeckt sehr gut. Oft sind die Augen größer als der Hunger 🙈Auch die Kuchen sind alle vegan und schmecken sehr gut. Wenn wir schon mal in der Nähe sind, gehen wir gerne dort hin.

Each time I'm in NRW, I look for one of the Sattgrün restaurants. This time in Essen, and it felt like visiting a place you know for ages, although it was my first visit there. The buffet is just perfect!

Die Kuchenstücke waren beide lecker und saftig. Die Preise sind auch absolut in Ordnung. Das herzhafte Buffett sah lecker aus und roch auch gut, da wir lediglich Kaffee und Kuchen bestellt hatten kann ich den Geschmack nicht beurteilen.
Read moreEin kleiner Nachteil ist, das das Restaurant durch das Buffett sehr danach duftet, was für den ein oder anderen störend sein könnte, sollte man Nachmittags zum Kaffee trinken und Kuchen essen ins Restaurant kommen. Jedoch bietet das Restaurant auch draußen Sitzplätze an, sodass man bei gutem Wetter auf diese ausweichen kann.

The food at all sattgrün locations is always well seasoned and delicious - unfortunately the variety of the dishes offered hasn’t changed in years. When I visited two years ago, the dishes were the same as today. Some dishes were also not available/empty when I was there around 14:00 on a Thursday. Besides that: satisfied 🥑

One of four or five places of Sattgrün. Relaxed atmosphere, nice interior. Food from the buffet with a selection of about 20 different components to choose from. I tried about half of it and all were quite good. There's also a good selection of around five to seven cakes per day. All food is vegan which makes it easy to pick your faves. You can choose from three different plate sizes which are 11.90, 13.90 and 15.90 Euros. You can pack your plate with as much food as you like (or are able to). Great place and not the last time I've been there.

The restaurant is very stylish and cozy, has a cute children's corner and a huge variety of what I think is the best of the best veganized Western-style food: they have all kinds of soups, salads, stews and curries, loads of veggies but also fake meat dishes (really liked the "gyros"), everything is delicious, fresh and very flavourful. Found the range of plant milks very impressive, too (they had 4, 5 if I remember correctly). There wasn't a dish that I disliked, only the noodles were a bit overcooked. Also don't be ashamed to choose the middle sized bowl for 13,90€ to shamelessly load it, others do it as well 😉

Einfach ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Essen ist einfach immer lecker. Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Essen. Vielleicht überhaupt. Meistens die gleichen Gerichte zur Auswahl und nur je Season etwas Abwechslung aber auch von den Klassikern kann man nie genug bekommen.
Read moreNur dadurch, dass es sich um ein Büfett handelt kann man auch Mal Pech haben und das Essen ist etwas kalt oder wird grade umgefüllt. Wenn man nett nachfragt wird einen aber auch gerne geholfen.

Cons: Speisen manchmal etwas kalt, Kann am Wochenende sehr voll werden
