By far the best vegan food in Antigua! My son and I felt like we were in the kitchen of a dear friend while she made our food and chatted with us. My son is NOT a vegan and also enjoyed the food here more than anywhere we’ve been. Just go. Carla will not disappoint! We both had the same melt in your mouth lintel soup. I had the gnocchi with tofu and veg, my son had the arrapa. All I can say: it doesn’t get better.

Cené anoche en Sat Nam y no tengo palabras para describir lo rico que estaba todo. La comida es deliciosa, fresca y hecha con mucho amor. Pero lo que realmente hace especial a este lugar es la dueña; es súper hospitalaria y amable. No solo me fui satisfecha, sino que hasta me compartió algunos consejos de cocina que ya quiero poner en práctica. Un lugar pequeño, íntimo y con un alma gigante. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Loved this adorable vegetarian restaurant in the courtyard of 12 Onzas coffee shop! The owner/chef waits on you personally and lovingly makes the dishes one by one. All were delicious and so satisfying! The green beans with apples and lentil soup were outstanding! Highly recommend!

J'y suis retourné tous les jours, et tout était délicieux. Emplis de saveurs, tout est frais, et les plats ont été pensés d'un point de vue nutritifs. Une cuisine saine où l'on se sent bien, Carla est une personne merveilleuse avec qui il est très agréable de discuter de sujets divers.
Sat Nam va me manquer mais je reviendrai!

Incredible food, amazing chef, one of a kind - Edit
Amazing, unique dishes in a peaceful, intimate setting. The chef and owner is an incredible woman who makes you feel at home in her small, 10 person restaurant. Somehow the prices are similar or even cheaper than other veg options in the area. A mist visit when you’re in Antigua.

Read moreI was surpriced with such delicious flavors of this restaruant in a touristy area. It was creative yet very balanced in all the flavors.
The staff is beyond polite and I felt very well attended to. The atmosphere is calm, the place clean and tastefully decorated.
I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on a future trip La Antigua

An intimate space with five or six tables and owned and run by nice lady from Venezuela, should probably put this dinner stop on your list. I think the name of this dish is Aripa Mushroom but you can see the photo below and I thought it came out quite hot and little under spiced for my taste and too much of the grain that made up this sandwich.
