Lackluster! - Edit
Personally I'll be avoiding this place. I can't tell which dish is vegan friendly. The staff didn't seem interested. It was also very crowded and could have contributed to their lackluster service. Based off reviews on here I ordered plain dosa and plain uttapam. I got bad heart burns after eating here so can't vouch for this place. Their menu seems extensive and it would be great if there was a "vegan" label for dishes that were outright vegan. Could help remove guesswork for customers.

Could do better - Edit
For anyone looking to visit this place, make sure you time it right as they don't always want to make the items requested.
Read moreMy wife and I went to get some dinner at around 5.30pm but we're told that the kitchen could not make nearly 60% of the menu until 7pm. We wanted good such as paneer butter masala and naans and such.
Upon questioning the waiter, he told us that the only items available were the dosas and uttapams. We asked why that was and he did not have a proper answer for us, only repeating that the items we wanted were available from 7pm.
We were unsure as to why a chain restaurant such as this would not be able to make simple food items that are listed on the menu. A chef in an Indian restaurant, regardless of speciality, should know how to make the food items we wanted.
Not wanting to wait such a long time and not wanting the items that were available at that time, we left. The waiter tried to get us to stay by trying to force us to choose one of the available items but we persisted and left.
The UK versions of this chain are very good but this places service was very lacking.
Cons: Limited menu at certain times of day, Pushy staff, Hard to find

Read moreThis place is affordable and has delicious food. I enjoyed the onion uthapum and masala Dosa which was way too much for one person!
Definitely recommend this place. It was years since eating South Indian food.

Masala dosa - Edit
I was introduced to this restaurant by someone with great expertise in Indian kitchen and I ended up going many times. I am a big fan of their "masala dosa".

Still open! - Edit
I was there on 26/04/2019 and it was very much open! Nice enough restaurant with plenty of choice. Menu was a little confusing. What I wanted to order was lunch but there was nothing to distinguish lunch from dinner!
Read moreFor some reason, roti cost QR4 and rice was QR10, I assume because they import the rice, so 2 rotis still worked out cheaper than rice.
Pros: All vggie, reasonably cheap (by Qatar standards)
Cons: Confused menu/waiters

Delicious! - Edit
The dosas were so good, service was fine although we came mid afternoon so was quiet and the staff were well aware of what was vegan and what wasn't. Will definitely return here next time I'm in Doha.

OK place - Edit
Of course, this is a chain versus an individual restaurant. They have a large menu, though a lot of items have dairy, so vegans should inquire. Given the large Indian population in Qatar, I would've expected better, but this place will do if you're looking for vegetarian food.

delicious South Indian food - Edit
We had a plain dosa and a rava dosa - both were fantastic. Their chutneys are delicious. We also took some dishes for take-away - aloo mattar and aloo gobi with naan. Bread was outstanding and the curries were good - not as good as the dosa in my mind. If you eat dairy, their curd vada was good and they are renown for their sweets ( too milky for me unfortunately). Several locations around the city - I have only been to this one. We will go back
