Experiencia magnífica - Edit
He venido mucjas veces. Dan ganas de probarlo todo en la carta. Tanto el menú del día como la carta estás super bien. Para mí, las mejores croquetas plant-based de Madrid.

Pretty good - Edit
I wanted to like it more, some was tasty, the croquettas were kind of bad though. Not my favorite in Madrid but considering the reviews, maybe I went on an off day.

Decent - Edit
I had the albondigas and a slice of apple pie. The meatballs were a bit dense and didn’t taste like much but were in a fairly flavorful sauce. The pie was damp. Adding a star because I’m sure being a vegan restaurant in Spain isn’t easy.

Everything was really tasteful. - Edit
If it wasn’t for the service a bit disoriented, therefore slower than it could be, it would be a 5 stars no doubt. In any case, if you’re around the Atocha train station, don’t miss this gem.

Yowza!!! - Edit
This place was phenomenal. We had the nachos, croquets (best ever!), Padrón peppers and the black bean burrito. All of it was top notch. Service is friendly and quick and atmosphere is relaxed. Good bar choices too. Walked in on a Monday night, at 9, and did not need to wait for a seat.

El local conserva el toc antic que li dona un aire molt agradable. Les cambreres correctes. El menjar casolà molt ben fet, res exòtic, cuina habitual però vegana.

Great attention to detail and good food. - Edit
Close to the Reina Sofia Museum, Santa Y Pura was our post-museum culinary (re)treat. We shared the special starter, quesadilla and a jug of sangria among the three of us and didn't even make it to dessert, because the portions were big and filling (although I would have loved to try their weekend donuts). Special starter consisted of a spicy potato-avocado salad, fried cauliflower with tahini sauce, a deconstructed baba ganoush (baked eggplant with tahini sauce), and fresh bread. The quesadilla was filled with seitan mince and cheese, and served with jalapeño cheese and avocado. Both dishes were very flavourful. The atmosphere was lovely and lively, service was attentive and guests were obviously feeling themselves welcome. The only downside is the seating in the front — those tall stools are not comfortable for older people (or children).

Good breakfast - Edit
Before 1pm, they have a breakfast menu. I had the tortilla, crossaint with bacon and cheese, and a dulce de leche donut. All very good and the donut might be one of the best I ever had. Donuts are weekend only and they have several great flavors to choose from.

Great vibe - Edit
Nice, laid back restaurant. The complimentary tapa of pickled zucchini was full of flavor. From the Special Starter platter the potato salad and cauliflower were really good. The babaganush (eggplant) seemed to be overcooked. The pizza was okay. Oreo cake was yummy. I would go back and try other things.

Wonderful - Edit
We arrived shortly before 12.30 so had to have a second mini-breakfast before we could order from the lunch menu (from 13.00).
Read moreEverything including the service and wine was great. We had a piece of tortilla (hot and meltingly soft), green salad (highly recommended), burgalesa tostada (with morcilla, wow!) and bocata vegalomo (fantastic!). Unfortunately there was no calamari.
We came back a second time for dinner, and had calamari (fantastic), patatas bravas (excellent potatoes), the Animanaturalis burger (nice and light) and a small four cheese pizza. The portions are generous, so it was too much for us, and we took the pizza in a takeaway box, giving us a lovely breakfast the next morning. 😀
