Santa Vegana is an adorable little restaurant in a buzzy neighbourhood in the heart of Barcelona. I was dying for a quick great lunch after a morning at the seaside and I wasn’t disappointed. Great friendly service and awesome tasty food with decent price tags.

Amazing place! Me and my friend had a burger each (Asian and barbecue) and then shared a Pasteur. Everything was just delicious and we’ll definitely come back to try more on the menu. It all looked great, place is cozy and pricing definitely worthy. The burgers were under 10€ and the amount is enough for a meal. Really really really recommend it! 🥰

We tried many things and enjoyed mostly the poke bowl, our drinks and the croissant with Catalan cream! The “salmon” was perfect for me, but my sister (a non vegan), didn’t really like it and thought it didn’t compare to the real thing. I respectfully disagree 😅☺️
Read moreWe didn’t really like the croquettes, which tasted great, but were way too oily (the fryer oil was probably too cold). The tortilla de batata was also pretty firm in texture, which was just hard to eat. I would have liked a softer, slightly gooey one.
I asked for some olive oil to go with our pan tostado con tomate and that was great. 👌

Read moreSanta Vegana is a cozy little spot that pleasantly surprised me. I tried the zucchini tortilla – absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I also had a pistachio pastry, which was very tasty, though a bit too sweet for my personal taste (to be fair, I’m not a big fan of sweets in general).
The service was simple and effective, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Overall, a warm and inviting place, great for breakfast or a quick bite.

Santa Vegana è un posticino accogliente che mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Ho provato la tortilla alle zucchine – davvero deliziosa e saporita. Ho anche preso un dolce al pistacchio, molto buono, anche se un po’ troppo dolce per i miei gusti (va detto che in generale non amo i dolci).
Il servizio è semplice ma funzionale, senza fronzoli ma efficace. Nel complesso, un luogo caldo e piacevole, perfetto per colazione o uno spuntino veloce.

Non posso che dare 5 stelle perché il salato è buonissimo e il dolce è uno dei migliori mai mangiati in vita mia. Come note negative segnalo il prezzo un po’ troppo elevato e il personale non molto gentile

The food was simple but very tasty (and also quite cheap for the location). What was quite strange was that there was only one person working there both taking orders and preparing them. The guy was very quick and nice but still it was impossible to sit with a group of friends and eat our meals at the same time.

This was the second cafe we went to on my birthday, and we enjoyed the pastries here a little bit more than at their supposed sister location of The Vegan Corner. They gave bigger portions for the quiche which was great, though we weren't as impressed with this quiche (still a good one though). I would go back!
