Great vegan options! - Edit
This place was a surprise delight! We had walked all of Oaxaca searching vegan options and this sweet spot was within walking distance to our AirBnb. They had numerous vegan options which were all really good! I had the acai bowl (pic here) my family ate sandwiches, pasta, and we all had desserts. The drinks were delicious too xoxo A must visit for all.

Located on a cute rooftop terras (no view), the staff is very friendly. On the menu, vegetarian options are clearly indicated (GF, slow cooked etc as well). You can ask for the vegetarian options to be made vegan. We had two different veggie burgers both were amazing so we loved it. The burgers were 165 and 195 pesos (or around €8.50). Muy bueno!

Good food, amazing atmosphere - Edit
The food and drinks that we had were very good. By far the most expensive lunch we had in Mexico, but for me it was worth it. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and mostly in the shade. Finally some chill music that isn't on the highest volume (like a lot of the places we have come across). They had vegan cake options, but we were too full to try them.

Actual vegan options…and salads!!! - Edit
After days of searching and craving, I found a big delicious chickpea SALAD here, at Santa Hierba. The salad as shown on menu has cheese, but omitting the cheese from the salad was not a problem.

Having vegan items on menu shows they understand what plant based and can reliably accommodate requests to prepare ovo-lacto dishes without cheese, etc.
