Delicious vegetarian and vegan curries - Edit
Vegan options available and will “veganise” the veggie options too. Curried banana is strange but delicious (no it’s not a dessert). Reasonably priced too.

Fantastic food - Edit
Sanskruti consistently offers great tasting food. The menu is really varied with lots of choice. The restaurant itself is a bit basic but the food and prices make up for it. Our go to for great indian food in Liverpool.

Best Indian in Liverpool - Edit
By far the best and tastiest Indian food in the North West. Proper Indian food that tastes like it does in India. Almost the whole menu is vegan. The spinach curry is astounding. They have dosas, vegan lamb kebabs and the huge naan breads are unbelievable. Dont miss it.

Amazing! - Edit
Delicious food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was very difficult to decide what to have, everything looked amazing and the majority is vegan, including naan breads. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning! The mocktails were also tasty.

Absolutely incredible! - Edit
An incredible amount of choice, with gluten free options and the option to change some veggie meals to vegan. The quality of flavour and array of spices was sublime. Can do nothing but recommend this place. Also mega friendly staff who know the menu well, happy to help and make your experience super enjoyable! Will be returning when I visit Liverpool again.

Will never get tired of eating here - Edit
An extensive and imaginative menu of vegetarian and vegan food from around India. My favourites (as in I have them every time I go) are Mysore Masala Dosa, a thin rice crepe filled with beet root and potato masala and spicy red chilli-garlic chutney and the Vegetable Seekh Kebabs...I then have the difficult job of deciding what other dishes we have, always ordering too much (but thats ok as they give you boxes and bags to take any leftovers home)

I love it here. The food is so filling and the staff are so helpful in advising what is vegan. I’d highly recommend the sharing garlic naan, but be prepared to eat too much because whilst it’s huge, it’s also delicious

Sanskruti serves vegetarian and vegan dishes only, Most of the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan on request.
Read moreThe restaurant has a chilled modern Indian restaurant feel, while remaining comfortable and homely. The food is amazing, we've never been disappointed and try to order new things each time, Beware some things can be a bit spicy, just check when you order if you don't like things too hot, the staff are lovely.
Pros: Vegetarian/vegan only, Great choice, Friendly staff

Good, honest fare - Edit
Everything's the right size, the right price, and the right flavour. You can ask for anything to be made vegan. My meateating sister said she could happily go without meat after eating here (she went back on her word later obviously) and my mum who says things like "where do you get your protein?" enjoys the food here. They present a little box at the end with sweeties in it. Just a normal Indian restaurant really.

A firm family favourite, Sanskruti offers an almost bewilderingly extensive menu, of which all the multiple options we've tried between us have been superb. Husband and I haven’t wavered on Sanskruti being our go to for anniversary/birthday meals, and our takeaway go to. Strongly recommend.

Fantastic food - Edit
I've always been a fan of Indian food, both before and after becoming vegetarian and have eaten in many fine establishments. However quite a lot of Indian vegetarian restaurants have a certain ambiance, which isn't a bad thing but it is nice once a while to go somewhere that is a bit more reminiscent of the curry houses of my childhood.
Read moreSanskruti is a place apart from other veggie/vegan Indian restaurants I have been to and is perhaps more in-keeping with the likes of higher end Indians like Prashad. A big plus is that offers dishes from various different regions of India so there are Punjabi, Gujarati and South Indian dishes on offer.
It is not just the taste of the food that set it apart, it is the entire experience including the sound of dishes as they sizzle on the way past the table. Not a sound one usually experiences in a veggie place, but my wife was delighted to find the sound of sizzling making its way towards her as her starter of Seekh kebab made its way towards her.
We started off sharing some poppadums and pickles, and the pickes on offer here are the standard all other Indian restaurants should be aspiring to. A wide range, and checked if either of us was vegan before they brought them - my wife is so they pointed out the raita wasn't vegan but the other five were including the best mango chutney we have tried (and my wife is obsessed with mango chutney).
Starters were the Seekh kebabs and tandoori mushroom Amritsari. The Indian food in Glasgow is predominantly Punjabi (and delicious) so we took the opportunity to try some Gujarati recipes for something different. So for main course we had Vatana Bateta (potatoes & peas) and Ringan no Oro (chargrilled aubergine) for main course with a mushroom rice and stuffed paratha as accompaniments. We shared everything and it was all delicious, just the right amount of food to leave us satisfied but without leaving us feeling overfull (or as occasionally happens with Indian cuisine like you have eaten too much oil or ghee).
The one mistake we made was not ordering any naan as we looked enviously at other tables that had naan hanging from small coat racks on their tables.
I would say this place pulled off the difficult trick of both at once feeling comfortingly traditional and something excitingly modern all at the same time.
Pros: Very good value, Staff efficient and really friendly, Busy without it becoming really noisy

One of the best Indians ever - Edit
Genuinely one of the best Indians I have ever been to. The food was incredible and the menu was so extensive with a huge amount of vegan options! The staff were so friendly and the vibe was very pleasant and enjoyable! We went on a Sunday where they close the kitchen at 9 and shut at 9:30, so be aware if you’re planning a later dinner😄Cannot wait to come back again and try more of the delicious food!

Simply incredible - Edit
We've eaten here several times now and I think it's firmly my favourite vegetarian restaurant in Liverpool.
Read moreThere are loads of vegan options with an exciting and varied menu that spans different regions of India. If you want to swap a non-vegan option on the menu such as paneer for tofu, they are generally happy to accommodate.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays ONLY there is a delicious vegan Thali (or vegetarian version of you prefer) which includes starters, mains, sides and dessert served on a large platter for one. The dishes included change every week.
When we went, dishes included a fried cassia bark spiral, a tofu curry, aubergine curry, yellow dhal, and halwa for afters.
Pros: Interesting dishes you don't see elsewhere, Loads of vegan choices, Great service
Cons: Friends said creamy curries are disappointing
