Best meal in Lisbon - Edit
This place is amazing! I'm not one for leaving reviews but set up my account just for this. The staff are so amazing and accommodating. There is a whole page dedicated to Vegan options including the most mouth watering Vegan Chicken Masala! I wish I could give this place 5 stars but the app won't allow it due to the restaurant also serving meat...BUT the amazing owners may eventually be opening up a second location that serves fully vegan. Definitely check this place out if you at all enjoy Indian/Nepalese food.

Amazing indian place! - Edit
I came here with a friend for Lunch and it was such a lovely experience! The staff is AMAZING, super nice and helpful. They have a whole vegan menu separated and can make some vegetarian items also vegan. The food was super good, rich but not too fatty, they ask you the amount of spices you can handle and you can even try to adjust to your liking. I will definitely come back here!!

Fantastic veggie and vegan choices. - Edit
Absolutely loved this place. Visited twice in a week. One of us is veggie and one vegan - excellent vegan menu. Staff excellent - food outstanding - great value. Make sure you book - people queuing out the door both times we visited. Can't wait to go back.

The staff in this restaurant is very friendly and makes choosing vegan menus as easy as possibles. They even have a separate summary page with all vegan menus listed. 👌 Also the Mango Lassi they prepared vegan without mentioning anything. Right next to this restaurant is a vegan shop located which sells, vegan bags, cosmetics, food, shoes and accessories.

Amazing vegan Indian menu! - Edit
Sanskar Nepal offers a huge separated vegan menu of typical Indian food. They even have faked-chicken (damn so good in their vegan 'chicken' tikka masala) and other mock-meat items to provide traditional Indian recipes in the vegan way. The food is very tasty, portions are generous and prices are moderate. The staff is friendly and perfectly knows what veganism is. It was one of my best dinners in Lisbon. I recommend to go there at least once in your life!

one of the best - Edit
Places I've ever been. For a omnivore restaurant it has amazing vegan options. We've had the vegan cheese naan and the vegan chicken masala and both were uterly amazing. The chicken masala has so good fake meat that I had to ask if they brought me literal meat. It was freaky how authentic it was. And the masala was delicious. Served with rice one if not the best I've ever had. And now the highlight. The vegan cheese naan had cheese in it that was so good I can't even describe it. If you liked molten cheese in you non vegan lifespan you can not miss this naan. If you have the opportunity to go to this place do it. 5/5 stars even for a omnivore restaurant. And the craziest part was, that the waiter thanked us for beeing vegan and making the cows happy. I don't know if this is something they say to every vegan, as a marketing strategy, but it worked. I've never been thanked for beeing vegan. Go there, eat there, you won't regret it.

Delicious food and friendly staff 5/5 - Edit
Me and my boyfriend ate here 3 times during our holiday in Lisbon. The vegan cheese in the naan bread was absolutely delicious and both of our main courses were great too. As our mains we had the vegan chicken masala and malai kofta. It is very easy to order vegan here because the restaurant has a separate vegan menu and the staff is very helpful. 5/5 if it were fully vegan.

The best vegan meal ever - Edit
Go here! It’s really 5/5! Vegan chicken masala is one of the best meals i’ve ever eaten. The “chicken” is definitely best fake meat. Also the other meal with veggies and onions in a full flavoured spicy sauce was epic. The staff knows vegan really well and it’s so easy to order from a separate vegan menu so you don’t have to ask about anything. In the end of our meal they even gave us small vegan mango lassies, ah!!

Best vegan Nepalese and Indian food ! Best staff ever ! Namaste - Edit
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived late at night by 11:15 and they were closed normally (they have changed the closing hours) but when we asked the waiter if there were closed because on internet we saw that they were open until 11.30, he checked on internet and as it was true he invite us to come in and seat to eat. It was a very kind from him to let us come in.

The vegan menu is delicious and they have many options in this menu, I tried my first Vegan Cheese Naan and it was delicious! also the vegan chicken tikka masala was amazing I was very happy to found a whole vegan menu in this restaurant and the prices are very good.
I can't give 5 stars because the restaurant is not fully vegan/vegetarian but they definitely deserve more than 5 stars.
I will come back for sure and hope you will open one restaurant in France :D !
Thank you so much for the amazing service, the kindness and the nice conversation at the end. You are incredible human beings !

Small nepal restaurant at Barrio Alto beside the party mile. They have approx. 10 vegan main dishes such as coconut curries, masalas, and even a vegan chicken masala (8-10 Euro), but also some starters like garlic naan bread with vegan cheese in it. And vegan Mango Lassi! We've payed 24 € for two main dishes, one starter and two waters.

The best place for vegans - Edit
They have a full vegan menu, but also the waiters have a fantastic knowledge of any other items and we're willing to adapt other parts. I had such a wide range of food to pick from as did my omni friends, I got the veggie korma and all of us were amazed by how good it was. At the end they brought us mini mango lassi shots with a vegan one for me (even though I'd got excited and ordered a full one with my meal).

Sanskar Nepal has a separate vegan menu and are very familiar with veganism. They are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience. We loved it so much, we went two days in a row. The food is extremely flavorful without the overpowering oils and spices we're typically accustomed to at other Indian restaurants. They get very busy so go early or ask for a reservation. Highly recommend this for vegans.

What a great place. The owner / staff are so friendly and all Nepali (although the food is more Anglicised Indian. But there is a specific vegan menu with loads of traditional-options. Their outside sign is a proud ‘vegan friendly’. So if you love this type of food and need a safe vegan haven that also very Family friendly, then definitely come and try here.

Great vegan menu! - Edit
Found this little gem because of Happy Cow and so pleased we did! The staff were really friendly, we didn't book but they fit us in as there was only 2 of us. There is a separate vegan menu (they also do veggie/ meat) so it was easy to know what was what. We visited twice within a short stay in Lisbon because it was so tasty, the aubergine curry and vegan "chicken" masala were my faves. We even got a began mini lassi with the bill, everything had been thought out. Would definitely go again if I'm ever in Lisbon!

Yum! My friend and I shared saag aloo (potato’s and spinach) with a “chicken” tikka masala (AMAZING) rice and a vegan cheese and mushroom naan. They even checked the wine was vegan for us. So delicious and well priced and the staff were so friendly. Definitely recommend.

absolutely delicious! - Edit
We had dinner as a group of vegans and meat eaters, so this was a great choice that suited everyone. The food was delicious, there was a whole vegan menu to choose from and the staff were lovely. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the food service was a little slow and took a while to come out. But overall sensational and highly recommended!

This place seems popular and no wonder why!

They seem to really know their vegan stuff, even the complimentary mango lassi could be served vegan. The prices are suitable for a lower budget which suited as well. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and staff very friendly.
