Peaceful vegan place - Edit
I really liked that place because it’s a little outside of Ubud and there weren’t so many people. It’s really peaceful there when you enjoy the delicious food. Try the caramel apple cake! 🤤

So so good couldn’t recommend enough - Edit
Amazing food at Sage. Great restaurant atmosphere and decor, and we were spoilt for choice with the menu. Food was excellent with generous portion sizes, drinks were so refreshing and great. So cute that they put a positive note on the napkins. Definitely coming back during our 8-day stay in Ubud. They have Wi-Fi too.

Love and compassion in every bite. Extremely health conscious to the quality of oil used, cookware used, and water filtration. Absolute bliss and peace of mind, body, and soul from eating here.

A beautiful place with delish food - Edit
This place is a little fancier than most restaurants you see in Bali. We couldn't choose from the menu because everything just seeemed so amazing we coudn't decide. Some of the meals were a but smaller portions than expected but otherwise everything was delicious, the service was great and the place had a beautiful atmosphere.

Nice little place but forgettable lunch! - Edit
Menu looked amazing so much choice. Only fancied something light so ordered a spicy crispy fried mushroom sandwich and a fresh juice. Sandwich was served in a small bun and was really bland. Juice was tiny but really tasty. I asked to pay and was told to head to the till where I waited in line to pay. I was already disappointed with my lunch and I new it wasn’t a cheap restaurant, but to be charged tax and service on top at the till was enough for me to never return. If I’m paying for service I expect it to be at my table.
Read moreSeems popular with tourists but there’s so much more value and authenticity out there! My advice. look elsewhere. (Forgettable enough to forget to take a picture)
Pros: Vegan, Plenty of choice, Nice restaurant and staff

We had a fantastic experience at Sage. We went there twice and we enjoyed both our meals there.
Read moreThe space is very cozy – we went there for dinner on both occasions and it's a quiet, warm space with lovely ambient lamp lighting.
The food was very good! The Tempeh Mushroom Rendang curry plate was delicious. The cauliflower bites were very nice. The cappuccino was excellent. The Beyond burger was good but not great.

Lots of GF options, all vegan - Edit
Nice restaurant in Ubud, south to monkey forest. We tried the summer rolls, a salad and a burger. The food is ok and overall well prepared. For dessert we had coconut cake. Not my favourite type of cake, but very fluffy.

Travelling as a coeliac and vegan is hard. This place made it easy. Gluten free chocolate cake, smoothies, smoothie bowls. Yum. If you’re going at night wear some bug spray as there were a few mozzies in there when I was eating.

A Go-To for the Past Three Years - Edit
We’ve been eating here for years, because Sage makes it fun to be a vegan. Their dishes are all delicious, especially their Jolly Green Bowl with ranch dressing. And those chocolate chip cookies...oh man.... I give it a HungryMan69 portion-size rating of 7/10, but I always leave satisfied, because I get the Date Coconut Smoothie for some added calories.

BEST PLACE IN UBUD - Edit
We go here every day. Period. Everything on the menu is good. Most things are amazing. Try the California burrito, the pink dragon bowl, the TBLT, the lone star sandwich, the jackfruit burrito, the breakfast sandwich, the tempeh Caesar salad, the mint forest smoothie... Aaaah it’s seriously ALWAYS a hit!

Lovely Atmosphere - Edit
It's a beautiful space, with lovely and attentive staff. I ordered the Hula burger as that seemed to be a popular one amongst reviewers here. It was very delicious, but I also found it incredibly salty. I wouldn't order it again, but I would probably return to try other dishes there. There are so incredible vegan restaurants in Ubud and whilst it was great here, it is a little pricey and it didn't blow me away.

I had the (no) taco bowl with tempeh chipotle sauce and a caramel apple cake. Both was truly amazing. The portion sizes are good and for a vegan stylish restaurant the prices are considerate as well. Huge recommendation!

Poor quality - Edit
I orderd the temphe ceasar salad made gluten free. But when they served i asked if the crutons inside were glutenfree and she said no. And said sorry to me, walked away and came back within a few seconds. Basicly just removed the crutons. Lucky me i wasnt super allergic, just intolerant. And then i realized it is missing the olives, which is mentioned as one of the first ingredients on the menue. So i had to ask her again. This time she just bring out a small bowl of olives and put on my table.
Read moreThe salad looks just like a big bowl of romaine salad drowned in the dressing as a soup with tempe on top... I couldn’t spot the other ingredients but she says it is in there.
For a 70k salad plus tax n service in Bali you kind of expect more...
