Tasty tasty tasty - Edit
This place is super tasty. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh. The tofu is top notch. The rice noodles were my favorite. The veggies are delicious. Great carrot cake too!

Just wow! - Edit
Had tofu katsu curry 🍛, fried meaty mushrooms, and a kombucha (watermelon mint lime). Katsu curry was delicious, so as kombucha but not the mushroom as they used only the roots of shiitake and it’s not thoroughly cooked so it’s very chewy and hard to digest afterwards. I wish they had used the whole shiitake, not taken out the best part and serve you only the roots eh? Other than that, a lovely place to try out vegan food!

Fresh and filling meal! - Edit
I enjoyed the tofu katsu curry ($5), and a pineapple and coconut smoothie ($3) and I felt both were good value for money, the curry was a big portion. Accepts credit card. Free WiFi. Nicely decorated too!

First vegan meal in Cambodia - Edit
Sacred Lotus was the first vegan meal I tried in Phnom Penh. Staff were helpful and food was good. Slightly small portions but flavourful.
Read moreOrdered the tofu bowl for $3.75usd which wasn't bad. If I go back I'm keen to try the smoothie bowl

RESTAURANT REVIEW
Read moreI had a really good time. The place is simple but welcoming, the staff is kind and prepared (they speak English). The menu is not too dispersive, there are few dishes but well executed. It left me with a good feeling after eating it. Good prices!

Nice vegan spot - Edit
Great variety of local and western meals. I ordered khmer breakfast soup and as mentioned in some other reviews, the liquid itself tasted a bit bland, but the meal was tasty overall. The place is really cute and quiet :)

Katsu for breakfast - Edit
Really amazing menu with lots of good options. They just added a new special Katsu curry which I had to have, even if it was breakfast. My partner got a smoothie bowl and we both enjoyed our meals

Fantastic burrito! - Edit
They do a meal deal for $8, big bean burrito, with tortilla chips, sour cream, guac and salsa, and a drink (tea or soda I think).
Read moreBurrito was huge, a teeny bit bland but I always dunk my tortilla chips in the dips and then put them in the burrito (iykyk). The sour cream and guac were 👌🏼
Passionfruit soda is literally that, soda water with passionfruit added in, it’s not sweet like juice.
You get a free dessert with the meal, a traditional Khmer dessert of coconut milk with little jelly balls. It was fine but not my cuppa tea.

Really bland… - Edit
Was really excited for this… but it was SO bland. I tried to Tofu Katsu Curry as recommended, but it was watery and bland with almost no flavour. Wouldn’t go back (sadly).

yummy af - Edit
a great way to experience khmer food as a vegan. to be fair we never had regular khmer food so no idea if it‘s accurate but it tastes great. if you order tea, remember it‘s a whole pot (we had a total of 2x0,5l tea pot)

Not the best - Edit
We had the green curry and the lotcha. Both tasted a bit plain and we used a lot of extra spice. The tofu (you have to order extra and pay extra) was extremely dry. The meaty mushrooms where pretty nice and the passion soda was really good and not to sweet. Overall not bad, but not special.

Delicious and cosy ambience🌞 - Edit
The food was delicious. We tried the Tropical Bowl, the English breakfast and the chickpea burger again in the evening. Everything was very tasty. The portions are not huge, but really not small either. Even if you eat a lot, you'll be full :).
Read moreThe sweet drinks (cocoa, Oreo milk shake, caramel frappe, passion fruit soda ) were all very lightly sweetened by European standards. When we asked for sugar, we were given a mini blob of agave syrup... it still wasn't sweet enough for us😂
All in all, it's a great restaurant with delicious vegan food and a great, cool atmosphere :)🤘🏽

Disappointing quality - Edit
I was excited to try this place, but very disappointed with the food.
Read moreI started with the pho, which I had a minute long conversation about asking for no mushrooms and extra vegetables. It came out a little too fast and the noodles hadn't fully cooked, so I had to let it sit for a few minutes. There was fake meat on top (no mention of this in the menu). They did leave out mushrooms, but there were no extra vegetables. It was only some bean sprouts and a few spring onions. There were a few pieces of tofu that seemed to have been frozen, but not properly rehydrated. There's nothing novel or creative about this, it's just basic noodle soup you could get anywhere, and a poor version of it.
Next I tried the tropical smoothie bowl. It seems they just put a frozen smoothie concentrate in a bowl and put fruit on top. First, if you're not going to make fresh smoothies with real fruit, don't sell them. Second, it was gross.
I don't know the motivation behind this place, but I think they've lost their way.

Good cambodian food - Edit
The place was cute and I liked that they were proud to be vegan (some places prefer hide to be all vegan). There were many dishes to choose, western and cambodian. We decided to choose cambodian dishes: red curry, amok, latcha and cambodian version of pad thai. I had the amok and it was delicious! My friends didn’t like their foods so much but I tasted them and they were ok in my opinion. The staff was little bit in rush so they forgot some of our orders (drinks) but we didn’t pay the forgotten drinks at the end so it was ok.

Not my cup of tea - Edit
Unfortunately I might have caught them on a bad day, but I really didn't enjoy the food here. I had the Khmer curry which was very watery and the Oreo milkshake which just tasted of pure coconut milk from a can which generally makes me feel sick so I couldn't drink it. My partner liked his iced chai (not sweet) and amok curry. The interior is really lovely though and there is a vegan hostel on top.

A very good feel to the place and very relaxed. I had mixed veg rice which came with a soup. Also had the ginger tea. came to $6. I thought it was tasty and there was a lot of it. The customer at the table next door had the burrito- which looked very nice and again a lot of it. My favourite place in Phnom Penh so far

Food is ok, some days better than others. - Edit
We have been there several times and the quality is uneven, depending on the day. We thought the hamburger was delicious, but the last time we ate it, it was bland, the fries were oily and soft. The same with the burrito that came with a pico de gallo with old tomato. I guess it's a matter of luck! Staff is lovely and the place is cozy.

Simple but pretty good - Edit
We ate here a few times at different meal times. The atmosphere has a rustic feel and staff were lovely. On the first visit i accidentally over-ordered and we ended up with chicken rice, cheeseburger, tortilla chips and dip and fries. The burger and rice were very nice, as were the chips and dip, but the fries were limp and unappetising. We came for breakfast and I ordered muesli , which turned out to be fresh fruit sprinkled with a few oats and sunflower and pumpkin seeds: nice but not what I expected. For another breakfast I tried their avo toast and it was absolutely delicious: tangy and sharp with red onion, and sunflower seeds for contrasting texture. At dinner time I tried the Khmer green curry (twice), not spicy but tasty, more savoury than sweet; and the very nice kuy teav cha, a noodle dish with lime, crushed peanuts, bean sprouts and scrambled tofu. A new dish for me, it was less sweet and with more vegetables than a pad Thai, and delicious. We grabbed a BLT and a burrito to take with us when we left Phnom Penh, both nice, the BLT excellent. An essential stop for vegans in PP. #Veganuary
