Suitable food in busy spot - Edit
Bakewell was very busy when we went and couldn’t find a place to eat so it was good they could accommodate. They had about 2 vegan options as mains and they were okay.

Nothing outstanding, but perfectly fine - Edit
The restaurant offered a decent vegan selection, with two vegan starters and two vegan main dishes available, which we appreciated. The food was okay overall / nothing outstanding, but perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the soup was already sold out by 5 pm, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, an average experience with some room for improvement.

Some good veggie options - Edit
Smart decor and nicely spaced tables. Enough choice for each course and menu says which meals can be made vegan.

Nice pub - Edit
This is a lovely pub in the centre of Bakewell with several vegan options and some veggie options which could be made vegan. We tried the burger and the dahl which were both tasty and generous portions. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and attentive during our visit.

Top notch service - Edit
Honestly, this place delivered an old time charm whilst being really relaxed and accessible. My husband had the moving mountains marinara meatball and cheese ciabatta and I had the Buddha bowl which was enormous! The service was fantastic, with the waiter anticipating our needs, and the food was great value and delicious. I’d have loved some toasted seeds, a grain and a warm element on my Buddha bowl but I make them for myself weekly so I guess I know what I like. Adam’s meal was faultless I’d say, I can still taste the chips in my mind. Too full for dessert sadly, but there’ll surely be a next time, most likely with our family.

Great service - Edit
Enjoyed dinner and breakfast here, few vegan options to choose between. I found the portions were big!

Great food, wonderful service - Edit
We had an absolutely amazing meal here, the staff are really attentive and the food was divine. We both ordered the butternut squash and truffle linguini which we’d not seen before on a menu, but there were several alternatives. Would recommend for a bit of luxury!
