Highly Underwhelming - Edit
On a trip to Atlanta, I ate at many vegan spots, and unfortunately this place was the most underwhelming and yet most expensive meal I purchased.
Read moreI was excited about the fresh, raw, and immense amount of options. I ordered a jackfruit lobster roll and my partner ordered a walnut cheesesteak. The flavors of the proteins in these two very different dishes were exactly the same. That flavor was neither lobster or steak but instead generic, taco seasoning packet. I usually am not that picky but the flavors/textures were truly indistinguishable and even as a salt lover, it was just too much and off-putting. For a city with so much great vegan food, this exact copy of basic, overly salty seasoning seemed lackluster and lazy. If I had a taco roll on the other hand, I would’ve been much more okay with it!
Onto the price. The price of the food was steep! When paying, I was totally okay with this because of the great reviews I saw plus I expected a hearty portion that justified it. That said, the two sandwiches purchased were pretty small and filled with shredded lettuce more than anything else. The accompanying chips and queso dip were very small as well.
Next, it took an hour to get our food. Many folks were getting frustrated with the time it had taken, and while I had nowhere to be and could kill some time, an hour is pretty long for a deli-style spot. No heads ups were given to any of the customers as more folks came in after us, and that was a bummer to see the lack of awareness and communication. I hope those staff get more help next time on a busy Saturday!
Lastly, at one point during that hour wait, I went to use the bathroom, which, to put it lightly, was probably breaking a couple of health codes. There was a dirty bucket filled with brown sludge water and a mop totally blocking the toilet itself. The sink and toilet were super dirty. I can usually look past clutter especially at a small business, no problem, but this bathroom was a jump scare!
Unfortunately, it was not the experience that many folks here have had, and I would not recommend this restaurant - the staff was friendly though, 5 stars for them.

Will return! - Edit
As a vegan person with hEDS, I have A LOT of food restrictions but I was able to find something delicious here! My friend, who's a non-vegan, loved it too and even made sure to tell the staff how good it was. I'm only visiting Atlanta, but I will be back!

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
My wife and I went to RHW for lunch and had the most amazing experience! Between the incredible food, cool ambiance and welcoming owners, we couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be returning to try more of the menu items. The Rueben is unbelievable!

Best vibe ever. Great food. Awesome staff. - Edit
I came here for lunch on my most recent visit to Atl. What a cool little shop. The vibe was laid back and peaceful. The food took a few minutes to get out, but that was a plus. It gave me a bit of time to check out the shop. Everything there let me know that these folks really believe in what they are doing and making. I decided to order two sandwiches. One for lunch and a cold one for dinner. They both come with a side, and I picked the chips and queso for both. The first sandwich was the Classic Reuben. The sandwich all together just worked well. The slices of crned beeph(corned beef) were thick and meaty. Not the thin slices you might normally get in a reuben. I thought this was great. The sauerkraut was really good. I ferment my own and should know. The sweet chipotle aioli was a nice counterpoint with the smoked gouda. Great sandwich. The second one I got was Da Grinder(cold sandwich). It held up really well for the several hours before dinner. I picked the crned beeph again as the protein. This was great, but looking back, I wish I would have tried the chkn. With all the veggies and a dill aioli, this sandwich was really fantastic. The spot can be a little hard to find as it's tucked away in the corner of a little strip mall, but this place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Atlanta area. I will definitely visit again next time I am in town.

A new favorite - Edit
I have been wanting to try this place for a hot minute. The place is right by a gas station. The owner greeted me as soon as I entered the door and gave me a rundown of their menu and told me about some events they put on. Everything on the menu looked phenomenal. I ordered the truffle lobsta on rosemary focaccia with a side of chips and queso to go. As I was leaving, I told the owner I would be back to try some of their other food, and he said, "I know you will." 😂 After tasting the food, I see why he is so confident. The sandwich was delicious. So flavorful and fresh. I also loved the coconut queso. I do wish it had come with regular tortilla chips instead of the yellow round ones but not a big deal. I walked for an hour and a half before eating my meal, and everything held up well. This is a must-go for anyone in Atlanta.

Love this place! - Edit
Bunch of angels work here. I come every time I visit ATL ever since I first checked them out. Love the jack fruit lobsta, but they seem to always be out of gf bread every time I come so I put it in a seaweed wrap and it's still yummy!! The raw cheesecakes when those are in stock are THE BEST 🤤😍

Truly excellent sandwiches! - Edit
This place is nigh impossible to spot from the road since their sign is tiny and they're in a corner unit - and if you're looking at reviews hoping for guidance on where the hell it is, yes, it is between the gas station and the smoke shop!
Read moreStaff is super nice and helpful, told us right away which items were out of stock (only a couple specific sandwiches and the gluten-free ciabatta). I got a build your own sandwich with turky and smoked gouda, red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mustard, mayo, and salt/pepper on the rosemary foccacia, basically everything I like on a Publix sub. It was sooo good. The foccacia was great and the fillings were delicious, not too much or too little of anything. It wasn't a huge sandwich so I'd recommend grabbing a side and/or a smoothie if you're super hungry.
My gluten-free friend got the curry chickpea on a nori wrap and liked the filling a lot, but when they say nori wrap they mean they wrap it in multiple layers of nori, which he said he wouldn't go for again. He also got the ginger tea made iced and loved it.
They only serve breakfast from 8am to 11am and we came in at 4:30pm so obviously we couldn't get that, but the stuff on their breakfast menu sounded delicious and I'll definitely be trying it if I'm ever in the area during breakfast hours!
Pros: Great food , Super friendly staff, Reasonable prices
Cons: Difficult to spot, Limited parking
