Several delicious vegan options

There are many vegan options such as the black bean burger (yes the mayo is vegan, made from aquafaba), the Rok salad, and the mushrooms on rye. Many other vegetarian options can be made vegan such as the bruschetta (they sub avocado for mozzarella), and tomato soup with grilled cheese (they sub hummus for cheese). The best part was the potato side dish, which has vegan aioli made with aquafaba.

Pros: Potatoes with aioli , Black bean burger , Asparagus

Several options available to vegans

While not specifically stated, there were loads of options that could be veganised and the staff were so kind and helpful. It is a very pricey restaurant for portion sizes but still was lovely to visit

Pros: Taste, Options

Cons: Portion size, Price

Limited options

Limited vegan options. EXPENSIVE for the portion size.
Food tastes amazing but not worth the hit on the wallet.
Expensive even for Iceland, expect to pay minimum £100 for 2 people

Pros: Tastes amazing

Cons: EXPENSIVE

Beautiful food, service great

Do book in advance. We managed to get the last table as a walk in about 6.30pm on a Friday. Lots of disappointments came in after us. So, the evening….. just amazing.

I had the open burger - black bean with jalapeño mayo, pickled cucumber, tomato and grilled pepper. Tell them you’re vegan and it comes out on vegan bread. Had it with sides of grilled asparagus and roast baby new potatoes with vegan aioli.

The service was really friendly, wine and water was kept topped up. Had a buzz about the place. Right by Hallgrimskirkja, the well known church, you can’t miss it.

Pros: Vegan “large tapas” style choices , Atmosphere and great service, Yummy food

Cons: 6 courses with a bottle of wine was £94
