Es ist schön, dass hier weiter ein komplett Veganer Supermarkt ist. Hoffentlich folgen noch weitere Filialen. Die Auswahl könnte aber definitiv besser sein. Es ist halt einfach das normale Rewe Sortiment, nur halt ohne Tierausbeutung. Das Sortiment von Veganz (Der Supermarkt der hier vorher drin war) war deutlich besser.

I guess there isn't a so much wider vegan range here than in other Berlin Rewes.
Read moreBut the cognitive ballast that drops when you no longer reflexively scan every product for labels and ingredients is enormous. An airiness that vegans are no longer familiar with. Especially in categories such as bakery items, salad bar, wines or freshly prepared refrigerated goods.
For me, this experience alone is worth a visit. You will certainly find a few exotics as well, but mostly in the higher price bracket.
The store relies entirely on self-checkout, possibly due to the limited space. During my visit, however, there were several employees present that customers had the opportunity to talk to.

Really cool vegan supermarket with lots of different kind of products. It is small and packed and you can't find everything that you need, but you can find a lot of stuff. I got the last item of 2-3 things when I went there - lucky.

I go there if I want to check out new brands or products since there is always something new. Love the bakery aisle, the baked goods I had so far were all incredibly delicious. Try the freshly made spreads, I always take one with me, really delicious.

I wish there were more stores like this all over Germany. Sadly a lot of the most interesting products are ones you can only buy if you bring a cooler bag with you, but I loved the bread/pastry bar because for the first time in my life I was able to buy the pastry I wanted at a supermarket. Both were delicious too! Some items I wish were there are missing, that's the reason for "only" four stars.

Great vegan store - Edit
REWE Voll Pflanzlich is founded in the old Veganz facilities, and also offer a 100 % vegan selection. Sn amazing place where you can get more or less everything. This new REWE have a bit fewer "specialities" and small-brand products than Veganz had, but this particular REWE is still a must visit for local as well as travelling vegans.

Ich muss 4 Sterne geben, weil es natürlich cool ist, nicht aufs Label gucken zu müssen. Aber ich vermisse den Veganz. Die Auswahl in diesem Rewe war nicht (viel) besser als in großen regulären Filialen. Bissl enttäuschend, ich hatte mich auf fancy neue Produkte gefreut. Allerdings gibt es einen kleine Auswahl im Markt gefertigter Produkte wie Frisch"käse" und belegte Brötchen.

Lovely tiny store. I find most Rewes to have a lot of vegan options already, but this one has even more, especially of spreads and vegan cheese and cold cuts. It even has a soft ice machine!

100% vegan supermarket. It was simply incredible. It was the first time in many years that I went to a supermarket without worrying about whether the product was vegan or not. It may seem like a simple thing, but it makes all the difference. I felt at home there and I hope other supermarket chains in Brazil copy the idea.

For a good start as baby vegan or for the feeling of not being worried while grocery shopping, i can recommend this market. It’s just a seed which gives hope for more fully vegan supermarkets!
I loved the ice cream and the bakery goods, the fresh made buns and sushi. It feels so good to see all these things available in one supermarket.

Ich finde die Idee gut, keine Frage, aber bitte mit mehr Platz und Produkten die man nicht in jedem Rewe bekommt.

i didn't know the beganz store from before so I can't make comparisons. however, i don't feel like this is "just a normal rewe with all non-vegan items erased". instead, i recognised many products from start ups you won't find in any other supermarket (at least not in the ones in düsseldorf). they also have things you normally would only get in organic supermarkets.

still, there are a few things to criticise:
- of course, the shop is too small
- sometimes, there are non-vegan items in the shelves. in this case, you should definitely inform the staff so they'll remove it (hope this won't happen anymore in the future)
- only self check-out which is pretty annoying in my opinion. at least you can pay in cash at one of them

Da ich den hier vorher ansässigen Veganz Supermarkt kannte und immer gerne besucht habe, bin ich echt enttäuscht. Eigentlich ist es ein ganz normaler Rewe in klein und die nicht veganen Produkte gibt's halt nicht. Man kann auch in jeden anderen Rewe gehen. Ich hatte sehr gehofft, dass das Sortiment des Veganz Ladens wenigstens mit übernommen wird, denn da gab es wirklich Besonderheiten. Leider ist dem nicht so, das finde ich wirklich schade. Es ist keine Besonderheit in Berlin mehr.
