Cocktails and desserts stand out!

I was excited to visit on opening night and it did not disappoint! True to its erstwhile origin as a cocktail and dessert bar, I was blown away by the Crimson and the Candy Bar Mousse Cake. The Shiitake Maitake Flatbread is also not to be missed.

The service was excellent- no opening night jitters that I could detect. Shout out to Daniel, who already knew the menu well and was super helpful with recommendations!

Candy Bar Mousse Cake. Beyond being fun to look at, it’s fun to eat. Tastes like an elevated childhood treat and it got better and better with each bite. at Reverie Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Brooklyn

Shiitake Maitake Flatbread. This was a last-minute addition to the meal, and I’m so glad we got it! It ended up being my favorite dish. at Reverie Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Brooklyn

Miso Glazed Short Ribs. A ton of fun to get such a variety of flavors over the course of the meal. The sake-soy sauce was a standout. at Reverie Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Brooklyn

Charred broccolini. Tasted like the best chinese takeout and the peppers were extraordinarily flavorful (if you can stand the spice). (I can🔥.) at Reverie Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Brooklyn

Parsnip Truffle Vol-au-vent. Such a fun presentation with the little tray and the enoki mushrooms. Wonderful umami flavor at Reverie Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Brooklyn +1
