Cheap fully vegan restaurant - Edit
Firstly I'd rate this restaurant at one dollar sign rather than two. You can get a bit bowl of soup for 15k or a salad for 10k. The food here was really yummy and was made to order.

Lots of dishes with fake meat if you like that kind of thing

100% vegan with lots of mock meat options - Edit
I'm not usually a fan of mock meats back at home, but have discovered some with great textures over here, and this place does them very well. We shared the volcano "duck", a crispy grilled "chicken" dish, and pineapple rice. All very nice, friendly staff, would recommend and give the crispy mock meat a go even if you don't normally like them, as it might surprise you!

Quality “meat” dishes - Edit
Great vegan restaurant which specialises in alternative meat dishes. The Volcano Duck was my favourite in two visits bolstered up with some Morning Glory. We had dinner and lunch the next day and would have definitely gone again if time permitted.

I had a peanut "duck" here and it was very good. Tasted almost the same as a real duck, but it was tofu 😉

Perfect place! - Edit
Inexpensive and tasty food for good portions!
Read moreHuge choice on menu. And if you don't like fake meat we will also find vegetable dishes.
Moreover, there is a small grocery inside with curry paste, sauces, a lot of soy proteins and some other stuff.

Not a huge fan - Edit
The restaurant itself is very quiet and quite sterile. Music could definitely liven up the space. I ordered the papaya salad and pad thai. Both were not as good as I hoped they would be. The salad was spicy but not flavored well and the pad thai had too much sauce and was too sweet.

100% vegan with a lot of mock meat - Edit
Love that it is 100% vegan, but for someone that doesn’t like mock meats, there aren’t too many options. ’Duck’ with peanut sauce is delicious.

WOW - AMAZING - Edit
Went there 4 times in 2 days, didn't want to try any other place in town. Simple and delicious dishes - especially the Lao salad, chicken steak and pork in Teriaky. The owner is lovely as well.

Friendy, good vibe, good food - Edit
I ate here 3 times: "duck" with peanut sauce, fried rice noodles with black soy sauce and "chicken" with ginger and a side of fried bubble tofu. All tasty, all unique. The best part was the fried bubble tofu. I had no idea what to expect when ordering this but to my delight they reminded me of fried cheese curds! I lived in Milwaukee for a year and loved fried cheese curds (pre-vegan) and these tasted so similar. So for you Mid-Westerners missing your cheese, these are a must order!!

Average meal but nice owner - Edit
I felt like this place was very random. The food was kinda average, I had the 'yellow fried noodle' and I didn't like it. I had to add a lot of chilli oil and flakes to make it have some flavour. Fake meats isn't really my thing, and there was a lot of it on the menu. So if you're into that, then it might suit you. Did have a nice chat with the owner though (I think he was the owner). He asked if I was vego and then I asked why he chose to open a vegan restaurant, he said that his family has always had jobs that killed pigs, chickens etc, and that he didn't want to do that, he has been vegetarian for 25 years.

GO HERE!! - Edit
Great vegan restaurant. Many options and all food a cheap price. (usually around 15k-25k) Portion sizes are large and filling!! Lots of mock meat options as well as vegetables options. Do lots of different types of fried rices, noodles, curries, and stir fries. I ate here 4 or 5 times in my short stay because I was always satisfied. The staff is nice and speak good English. Food is made fresh but is also made pretty fast.

Very good all vegan restaurant - Edit
Discovered this place on our last evening in Laos which was a shame. Would’ve come here several times! Ordered several dishes and everything was really great. Try the roasted chicken (appetizer): i’ve tried a lot of mock meats but this one comes the closest so far. Recommended!

A good vegan place! - Edit
Reunion Cafe offers a large menu of vegan mock-meat and salads. It is affordable, the staff is friendly and professional, and the place is pleasant. I had the fried 'duck' with peanut sauce, the fried tofu with basil leafs and grilled 'chicken'. Everything was very tasty and the 'chicken' was really incredible! I would definitely come back to try many other things.

The "chicken" ginger stir fry was incredible! - Edit
This little haven in the hustle and bustle of Vientiane was a w elcome relief to our search for vegan food in Laos. They offer a large amount of Asian style dishes and use soy based "meats". I had the "chicken" and ginger stir fry which was unlike anything I've ever had! My boyfriend had the Vietnamese sausage dish which also blew our minds! Fresh fruit smoothies are also available as the perfect thing to wash down a yummy vegan meal. The restaurant is low key and the ladies that work there are so nice! This was by far the best meal we had on our trip, and even had time to stop a second time during our layover in Vientiane!

One of our favourite vegan restaurants in the world! Almost everything we tried was fantastic. Our ultimate favourites were the mayonnaise salad (best vegan mayo ever) with the grilled chicken steak. A DIY chicken caesar salad! But the curries and stir fries were also superb.

I’ve been there twice so far since I arrived in Vientiane, and both times have been happy with the food and the service. They have a menu with English descriptions and some pictures with noodles, Vietnamese soup, fried rice, mock meats, plenty of vegetables and a range of choices. They also have chocolate coconut water.. so good and simple ingredients. As well as vege friendly instant noodles for sale and some snack foods. Prices range from 15K to 30K kip. Servings are medium sized.
