But nothing special. The food is good and arrived really fast. Good range of dishes and located in the city center. Nice service. It has the worst woman's bathroom ever, you close the door and try to pee and you hurt your knees on the door, you can not spread your arms otherwise you hurt yourself (elbows) on the walls or on the toilet paper hanger, and when you open the door the door is just half open because behind the door there is a sink (which does not work anymore), you have to be careful cuz I hurt myself again with the door knob in my arm when I opened the door. The bathroom was very dirty, the tables were greasy and lots of children throwing food in the restaurant and screaming, and stupid grow up guys who wants to be "macho" and trying to hurt the poor pigeons around there.

This place doesn't look like it's likely to have a decent vegan selection but it does! Which is a good thing because Riekja like most Croatian cities is pretty useless when it comes to vegan options.
Read moreThe staff spoke enough English to give me their vegan recommendations and it was a good call. They do a few traditional (meat) Croatian dishes vegan style and the portions were ok. Not much choice in the vegan dessert department though. There is outdoor seating and its realtively spacious.

We were looking for vegan options and found this restaurant in Rijeka. The menu has A LOT of vegan options clearly labelled which is super nice. I had the vegan meat balls which were really good and my husband the bouddha bowl but it was mostly full of lettuce and desapointing.

too expansive for boring taste and unfriendly staff - Edit
The food of my friend was okay (vegatarian Pizza), my Lasagne Genovese that should be vegan was covered with unvegan Parmesan. When I spoke to the staff about it they insisted that the cheese is vegan, and where very unfriendly. I tried it but couldn't eat it, it was disgustingly stinking because of the unvegan parmesan. But even without it it wouldn't been much tastier. They didn't offer me something else which I really expect in a situation like this. Wouldn't recommend this place at all, there are way better alternatives in Rijeka to go out for eating.

I had the vegan irish ragout with gnocchi. The gnocchi are homemade and tasted so good. The ragout was really good as well. Would definitely go there again and try something else next!

The food was okay, nothing quite special. Their lasagne are good and filling. The restaurant is in the city center and has little bit of a hipster feel. Unfortunatelly, the surrounding area is not very aesthetically pleasing and the prices could be a little bit lower.

Often places offer vegan fast food, but in Štorija you have many different proper warm dishes like curry, pasta or a bowl as well (plus multiple vegan burgers).

I have tried the vegan Carbonara and it was delicious. It contained vegan Parmigianino, courgettes, mushrooms and was very creamy. They have around 8 vegan dishes to choose from. Friends have told me the vegan burgers are also great.

We came from cres looking forward to a vegan meal. We ordered a burger and a bowl.
Read moreThe burger tasted weird, the "meat" patty was really bad. Also, there was a olive kernel in the burger, which wasn't that nice either.
The bowl was cold. Tasted also weird, nothing matched. Sweet potato fries with a pumpkin puree - both cold.
Also, they didn't had all of the dishes.
