tasty food - Edit
vegetarian café with some vegan food options:

i tried the ratatouille flammkuchen (14,60€) which was made with vegan crème fraîche, veggies, rucola and homemade mustard sauce. was veery tasty but i found it a bit too expensive for the size (~⌀20cm).
the banana bread (3,90€) was great and since it was reheated, the chocolate drops inside melted :o
you can bring your dog but don't a forget a blanket where they can lay down.
all in all, nice place for studying/working/reading.

Laid back - Edit
Relaxed café where you can also take your notebook and work for some time.
Read moreClearly labeled vegan options. Tasty coffee.
Indoor and outdoor seating. I perceived the music indoors to be a bit too loud. So even if it is located in a quiet backyard, it's more a place to hang out than to calm down.
Friendly staff, wearing a Sea Shepherd shirt.
There's one toilet and it's unisex.
Cons: only accessible by stairs

Good but nothing special - Edit
We came here for breakfast and had a bagel and grilled vegetables toast. The food tasted good but the portions were a bit small for the price.

Hidden gem - Edit
The cafe is slightly hidden in the beautiful courtyard of The Sparkle Office Lofts. The building was built in 1890 and modernised in 2019. There are many tables outside with a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
Read moreThe vegan offer could be bigger, but there is one kind of vegan cake, a vegan breakfast, a wrap and a bagel. The service is very attentive, the coffee and the banana bread tried today were very tasty! I will be back.

Tasty and trendy new cafe - Edit
A friend introduced us to this cafe. The menu is clearly labelled with vegetarian and vegan options and the member of staff who served me was easily able to point out the vegan cake choices. She also asked me which milk I wanted in my decaf coffee which was a refereshing change from me habing to ask for a milk alternative.
Read moreI had the vegan cheese bagel which was very tasty as well as the schoko-kokos muffin (also vegan). I washed this down with a good oat milk latte. The other people I was dining with also really enjoyed their food - vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I would definitely recommend trying this place. They have a really interesting looking coffee menu and if I hadn't have already had a coffee I would have tried one of their hand filtered ones.
Pros: Clearly labelled menu, Inexpensive, Good seating inside and out
Cons: Toilet is down a few flights, Currently doesn't appear to have disabled access
