Pleasant, pricey place

This is a lovely, small but elegant Indian restaurant with a few clearly labeled vegan options. For the hefty price, I frankly wish I'd have gone to a more vegan-centric place. I liked the food, to be sure, and the portions were generous, but I wasn't bowled over. In particular, I asked that the food not be too spicy, and they ensured me that it would not be--but it certainly was (and I saw chiles suspended in both my main dish and the rice).

Flavorful Indian gem!

A tiny little family run place with big flavors. Love that there is a very well labeled and lengthy vegan menu. Had the Chana Saag, best I’ve had in a while. Good portion sizes.

Nice spot for a late, comforting bite

The complimentary papadam was a lovely and crispy start. I ordered the veg samosas which were listed as "jumbo", but we're not the largest I've had offered in a restaurant, but they were filling with a flaky crust. The side of the red onion and arugula salad that came with the samosa was so good! The host/waiter made sure to mention that Red Onion being their namesake made sure they prepared the red onions beautifully. The entree was a pretty generous portion and filling. I had their Dal Red Onion which was comfortingly aromatic, creamy and flavorful. The host was very attentive and friendly.

Pros: Separate Vegan entrees listed , Attentive, accommodating staff, Lovely, clean modern space - good for dates

Cons: No vegan desserts (yet)
