Not disappointed - Edit
I ordered the Gentle Ruben sandwich and it was delicious. Creamy, sauerkraut, deli slices of seitan (I think) on excellent rye bread... I didn’t leave a single crumb!
Read moreWe also tried the GIANT apple pop tart and the very rich and coffee-y vanilla latte cheesecake . (No pictures cause it disappeared too quickly 🤭 👻)
Pros: tasty , Nice ambiance , Terrace
Cons: Limited seats

This is a must go to in Austin - Edit
The sandwiches are amazing and they let you try samples of any cheese. The place is really neat inside has wine and and great atmosphere. The area around it is really nice to walk around after stuffing your face. One downside is it's definitely pretty pricey and the parking isn't free.

Awesome deli style vegan spot - Edit
A small, modern and very cute spot. Lots of vegan cheese and “meat” options. Their sandwiches are huge and their soups are delicious! They also serve wine. Can buy their cheese in the deli section to take home.

Absolutely divine - Edit
I tried a few of their spicy cheeses and they were incredible. The meatless miracle sandwich is a perfect cruelty free breakfast.

Phenomenal - Edit
This is a phenomenal restaurant. The workers are helpful and kind. They seem to genuinely like their products. The cheese selection is excellent. They make a lot of their own cheeses. They ship in some from Vtopia in Portland Oregon as well as a place on the east coast. The selection and quality is really really good. They have a menu of sandwiches that highlight their great cheeses. I had the pesto sandwich one day and the caprese on another. They were both so good... I haven't had anything like the caprese since before I went vegan. The mozzarella was out of this world. I also bought several croissants, which were really flakey and good (another thing that's been really hard to find since going vegan). I highly highly recommend this place.

Brunch goodness - Edit
We came for brunch the weekend after they opened and got the lox and flake & bake along with some of the treats sold in the store (sweet ritual ice cream sandwiches and scones from skull & cakebones). Great food, nice environment, friendly service. A much needed new dine-in ATX vegan spot!

The second time we came here we each got dinner sandwiches and some goodies to go including one of the cheeses that Rebel make themselves which was delightful. We went back one other time second week of December to get some desserts and cheeses and have yet to have anything from Rebel Cheese that isn’t amazing!
Pros: All tasty vegan food, Friendly staff , Good environment
Cons: Were out of some things on the menu

Top fave in Austin - Edit
I had the best sandwich of my life here - the all vegan bacon and Brie. Huge selection of vegan cheeses, great sandwiches. The shop is full of all the items you need for a vegan charcuterie board. Loved the baked goods too, pop tart and chocolate chip cookie were delicious!

Easy Access And Great Food - Edit
Rebel Cheese is located a bit in the burbs (but not far from city center) which has its advantages. Lots of free parking and a new construction location make it easy to visit. The dishes are mostly gourmet sandwiches and soups and salads. And, of course, CHEESE (and wines!). This is obviously a place where care has been taken to craft a delightful eating experience, and though it is a very casual environment, the prices are a bit on the high side for this type of fare. Expect to pay $12-$15 for a typical entree.
Read morePros: Well-crafted fare, Variety of vegan wines and cheeses, Ample free parking
Cons: A bit pricey (you get what you pay for, tho)
