Good experience - Edit
This is a lovely place, but it wasn’t exceptional. Their breakfast menu looks amazing, but they only serve one of those dishes per day, so there’s so many things you want to try but can’t. And compared to that, the other dishes look underwhelming. They charged a fee for the napkins, which they only told us about afterwards.
Read moreThe food itself was good, nothing to complain about. If you’re nearby, this is a good option. But compared to other restaurants in the area, it can’t compare.

Surprisingly delicious food in an alleyway restaurant with a simple rustic interior - Edit
Hidden away in an alley with an interesting menu, lots to choose from and plenty of vegan options. Each item described in detail which was helpful as the server we had wasn’t particularly informative. Especially enjoyed one of the specials with aubergine, mushrooms & glass noodles. Met one of the owners who was passionate about the healthy, vibrant food they create & a pleasure to meet. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Wow! - Edit
This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants that I have eaten in, anywhere. Such an interesting and imaginative menu. We were spoilt for choice and probably over ordered. I'm glad that we did as every mouthful was wonderful. The service and ambience were excellent. We felt so welcome. If you are a vegan or vegetarian or even if you are not, do not miss out on eating here whilst in Ho Chi Minh City. Well done Rai Oi Vegetarian! I'll be telling people about you for many years to come.

It was just a little disappointing to see so much egg on there. The staff were really friendly and the food was yum

Expensive but not impressive - Edit
The food was rather pricey for its portion. The flavour was alright for me, but its price didn't do its justice. One dish cost more than 100k, which was a bit too much. Anyway the ambience was nice.

Special Duck Meat and nice menu - Edit
The menu was really great and I couldn’t decide what to choose. In the end, I went for the vegan duck which is a great copy of the meat-version. They imitated the fat very well but still it was very crunchy from the outside. So, if you like that, go for the duck!

Best tasting food from our 3 month trip - Edit
Honestly I cannot believe the last couple of reviews here. This was the best food I’ve had whilst travelling around Asia for the last 3 months! Every dish was so flavoursome and fresh. We ordered the mushroom oyster salad, mushroom rolls and another type of rolls before ordering the mixed tofu as the first dishes were so good. The restaurant has a very trendy vibe also - a perfect place in my opinion !

Spring rolls - Edit
Who serves dried ass spring rolls? Every amateur knows that rice paper dries up quickly and becomes not chewable. And the amount of coriander they put in should be illegal.

Pros: Clean, atmospheric , Good service
Cons: Many of the dishes are not well thought out, Barbecue mushrooms are bad, Spring rolls barely eatable

Is ok.. - Edit
They charge for using napkins and are packed with plastic. The food was expense for what it has to offer taste wise. There were many not available dishes.

Good vibe, good food - Edit
I found the menu a bit difficult to follow. The tax is not included on menu prices so we were surprised by the bill. They also provide you with wet napkins when they lay the table, and we were then charged 10,000 Dong for them at the end. We had a 5% discount for something, though I don’t know what.
Read moreI had a soup, it was good and I enjoyed the different flavours but I’ve had better. The ‘duck’ rolls were also nice but slightly overpriced in my opinion.
Pros: Good and hearty food

Atmospheric and tasty - Edit
The Quack Quack is great. Also tried the blue lemonade and the tofu sandwiches, which all have different sauces. Everything tasted great and the prices were reasonable, at least from a European perspective. Easy to find, fast WiFi, friendly service.

Nice place quite expensive - Edit
The food is tasty and the place is nice with a good service. It is quite expensive compared with others vietnamese restaurants and the portions are not that big. They charge 5000 Dong separately for the wet napkin.

Great vegetarian and vegan food - Edit
Everything was very clean and the atmosphere there was really cozy. They have kind staff and a big food selection. Prices are completely fine. We paid 350.000 VND for 2 people with starters and drinks. The food was very delicious and it was a worthy experience! 😋

Limited choice for vegans - Edit
The menu seems to revolve around eggs making the choice for vegans limited. The food is ok but prices are much higher (more than double) than for comparable food in more local places. And they do the thing I hate. Hide the tax in tiny font at the bottom of the menu. It’s not optional so be honest and show it in the price!
