Only a couple of options but they’re good - Edit
We stumbled upon this place after visiting the bamboo forest and we were glad we did. I tried the tomato ramen, my sister has the miso ramen. That’s about the extent of the options, but both were delicious and fresh. They came with a bit of tofu ‘cheese’, which sounded weird but was good, especially with the tomato ramen. There’s an option to buy one of the panda chopstick holders for 400 yen too, which of course I couldn’t resist.

Solid vegan ramen at Arashiyama - Edit
You can find this place at the end of Arashiyama, in a quit side street.
Read moreI had the vegan tomato ramen. It had bell peppers, okra, shredded "cheese" (based on tofu), sprouts and pumpkin as a topping. They also have a vegan miso ramen.
The tomato soup was light and sour sweet, but tasty. The okra was slimy, which thickened the soup. The ramen noddles were kinda thin in my opinion. I wasn't sure about the bell peppers.
It was tasty. The portions size was kinda small for 2000¥. You can order via QR-Code and Smartphone. Water was free.
Pros: free water, fast ordering, ordering via smartphone
Cons: small portion, pricey for that portion

Ramen loaded with fresh veggies - Edit
Stumbled upon this place while desperately looking for a vegan meal nearby the Arashiyama bamboo forest. Very welcoming family business, the elderly lady who runs the place is really nice and they really care about the food they serve there. They speak limited english but they are really accomodating. I accidently ordered an extra bowl of ramen and we were able to sort the issue. The ramen wasn't the cheapest but I thought it was way better than the famous Uno Yukiko, in Gion. It was loaded with fresh veggies and one of the toppings was a sort of tofu cheese. The broth was really flavourful. Really recommend this place in the Arashiyama area.

wow - Edit
Best ramen we had our whole 3 weeks in japan. There are two fully labelled vegan options. The staff are friendly and well spoken in English. The service was quick. We ordered both types if ramen and they were 'oishii' delicious. A bit kore expensive than other ramen places (probably because of the tourist area) but totally worth it. I wish I could bring 3 more home with me.

Decent vegan ramen - Edit
Nothing special but a decent vegan option if you are in the area.
Read moreHad the vegan miso ramen option, broth was nice, noodles bit thin, okra was great. Not a fan of the bell peppers. Vegan cheese (from tofu) was also pretty tasty.

Beautiful ramen and people - Edit
The ramen was so delicious and really light, while still being incredibly flavorful. The use of whole wheat noodles is a fantastic touch! The owner and chef were both so friendly and kind, as well. It was a great experience at the end of a great day in Arashiyama.
