Lovely stop for vegan food & treats - Edit
We stumbled upon Purée in the afternoon while looking for a coffee spot. A very friendly woman was working there and welcomed us warmly. They offer two main dishes that change daily, along with a selection of sweet and savory pastries. We tried a slice of cheesecake topped with sour cherries — it was absolutely delicious! Since the interior was quite dark, the staff kindly set up a table for us outside, which we really appreciated. A cozy little place with great vegan options

They claim to be vegan, but they definitely have cow milk in the fridge and according to past reviews there were issues with the food as well. The lady assured me that everything is vegan and when I asked why they have cow milk, she was not able to explain it in English.

Lovely food but no juice - Edit
I got a takeaway meal for dinner and it was so tasty I went back for lunch the next day. I’m not sure what either meal was called - the friendly lady serving didn’t speak English and I don’t speak Estonian so we were relying on Google Translate (I’m pretty sure they don’t put “beetle” in the juice instead of “beetroot” :-D) - but both meals were lovely. The cheeze in both was so cheesy that I had to check that all food is vegan. I don’t know why but on both visits there was no juice available, just (free) lemon-&-mint water.

I guess the menu changes every day. On the day we arrived, we had the Cauliflower Soup and the Chickpea Curry with Basmati Rice and Salad. Both were delicious. A nice and small but busy cafe. Friendly staff with English. Good pricing.

I come here for lunch every week, it’s good home-style vegan food. You don’t have to wait, the food is ready. There are only few tables so sometimes you can’t sit inside. As of 2024 the place is not vegan, because they offer sour cream and meat pies. The rest of the food is claimed to be vegan.

I liked the fact that we couldn't speak the same language ...we found a way to talk. I'm gluten free, plant based. It was amazing. Almond flour pastries. Vegan lunch of the day..So charming and fresh quality. It's now marked as a must go for my future trips!!

I have ordered the cheese hatchapuri and sweets many many times and it never dissapoints. The meals are also very reasonably priced delicious and homey.

The shop owner was very nice, although we didn't have a shared language. We had khatchapuris, smoothie and a cream roll for breakfast. Although the website and social media channels claim the khatchapuris are vegan, we have a really hard time believing it true. It really tasted and the texture was very much like cow milk cheese. The pastries didn't have markings whether they were vegan or not, and as we didn't share a language it was difficult to be sure. So be careful when ordering! Also there was only one smoothie option available that day, and it wasn't the best flavor combination in our opinion. The cafe was small and the place was very cute, so we would have wanted to like it more, but unfortunately it didn't convince us. Maybe the lunch options are a safer choice when visiting here?
