One of my absolute fav in/near Raleigh! - Edit
Very nice staff serving amazing food! The place has a lovely vibe outdoor in good weather, and spacious inside too. ALL food is recommended but especially the “soul roll”. Rare to find nice vegan fish - great here! The cheezecakes are amazing too (just bit too small). Prices are friendly!

We were looking for some where to stop on a road trip. Found pure soul since it was close to the 40. We will be stopping at Pure Soul everytime we are close by. The food was really delicious. Only down side was they have a small selection of drinks

I ordered the drum sticks, and they were amazing. The texture and flavor was the best I've ever had, and the honey mustard paired so nicely. The fries were a great texture and seasoned.

We went as a large group and sat outside. We shifted some of their tables and chairs around and had multiple orders/numbers and they handled everything so smoothly without batting an eye. The staff was so wonderful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. What a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food (and dessert!!!) options!

I went looking for soul food restaurants for my family and found my favorite restaurant that all of my family enjoys. The corn bread is my favorite but I haven't had anything that I haven't enjoyed. My son loves the cheese fries while my daughter says it's the best chicken sandwich she ever had even though even she knows it's not chicken. Great food, great atmosphere, great people, great prices and food that feeds your soul!!

Fully plant-based restaurant serving southern food like BBQ jackfruit, mac and cheese, cornbread, coleslaw, etc. Very tasty vegan renditions of the classics! The staff were very friendly and they have a cute outdoor dining area as well. Check it out!

We have had the best southern comfort foods here! New establishment with wonderfully nice people! Went to a vegan place at same address 7 years ago and did not have a nice experience. We are in love with their vegan mac, cheese fries and their Chicago burger! Great prices for vegan food too!

This was my first time stopping here, and I'm glad I did. I got the "Soul Bowl" and a "kale salad", and it's hard to describe how yummy it is. I was just passing through on vacation, but if I lived nearby, this would definitely be a place I would frequently stop at. Give it a try, ypu won't be disappointed!

Took my mom, wife and friend there for lunch today & it was great. I hadn't been since the year they opened - their menu has really expanded! Mom and I had the shrimp po'boys and they were delicious (and the shrimp looked & chewed so much like real shrimp I actually checked to make sure everything is plant based... so I guess that's a warning for anyone weirded out by that.) We had the cheesecake with peanut butter drizzle & it was mouth watering good. Many great choices & all of the people were very nice. We recommend!

Read moreMy (vegan) husband and I ate here yesterday around lunch time. We asked for recommendations from the staff and ended up getting the chicken burger and what was like…a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw.
Both were SO good! I personally liked the chicken sandwich more. The batter that was used; the pepper and salt aspect was JUST perfect!
I am sad I didn’t get to try any desserts, but I’m sure those are also amazing!!
Pros: Delicious , Knowledgeable and friendly staff, Pricing is good
Cons: bit hard to get to if you aren’t familiar w/area

I loved my barbecue plate. It was fun to choose side dishes. Google navigation takes you close but you can find it on the far side of Boulevard plaza, under the billboard.

We didn't think we'd be able to get true Carolina BBQ now that we're vegan. But you can, right here! Who needs pulled pork when you can have BBQ pulled seitan (guessing that's what they used)? Mandatory accompanying coleslaw was excellent. As was the cornbread.
