My first meal in Costa Rica, and I was not disappointed! I wanted something light which this little cafe certainly caters for. I had a Caramel Ice Latte and the Avocado, both were fab!

Amazing brunch - Edit
This all vegan Cafe was amazing. We had the "egg" muffin, the tiramisu, and lovely coffees but it took ages to decide due to the wide range of choices.

The muffin is also served with a bowl of fruits with yogurt, peanut butter, granola, and chia seeds so it was good value for money.

Read moreI had the Puralma “egg” muffin and it was delicioussss. It was almost like two meals in one, since it came with a small bowl of fruit salad and granola. The muffin was stacked with “egg”, a vegan sausage patty, cheese, tomato, greens and sauce, with a perfectly crispy fluffy hash brown on the side. Loved it 👌🏼

I had the omelette with corn tortillas and a coffee boast protein shake without the coffee lol. It was really tasty, colourful and fresh. There are quite a few options that can be gluten free too.

🌯Puralma est bien plus qu'une boulangerie, en proposant une véritable carte de restaurant. La carte correspond plutôt au format brunch. La plupart des plats sont des spécialités locales et de qualité.

I visited PURALMA a couple of times while visiting San José. I tried the pupusas on one occasion (very yummy) and a smoothie bowl on my second visit which was delicious and chockablock full of goodness. I also bought some items to go; the raw snickers bar (amazing!) and the empanadas which were also yummy. The service was excellent too.

Ohhhh my goodness this breakfast/brunch was incredible, so delicious. I think we went to the cafe rather than the bakery???, which was based on google maps' location and a few mins walk from the bakery. Lovely atmosphere, kind owner, and all plant based/vegan.
